About Jericho Coffee Traders:

Kiwi James and his wife Lizzie had always been in love with the idea of having their own coffee business, often scheming about how they would go about starting it up.

The opportunity came in 2009 when they found a beautiful Vespa trike for sale on the side of the road, and both thought: “that needs a coffee machine on the back of it”! And so, Jericho Coffee Traders was born!

Now we have a thriving online business and three locations in Oxford, UK - our Espresso bar on the High Street, our Cafe at the Oxford Castle, and our Cafe & Roastery on Osney Mead - all serving delicious espresso and filter coffees accompanied by locally made pastries and cakes.

“I'm a monthly subscriber of Coffee beans and they are fresh, tasty and come when promised. There are many options out there and I chose Jericho because they are relatively local, give great coffee options and have a fantastic ethos as well. Really happy.”

“JCT are an exceptional team. A highlight for me has been the quality of their roasts. They always roast with empathy for the excellent beans they are sourcing. To my mind it is the only way they have been able to produce some quality aromas and taste. I have bought solely beans from the complete range and all have distinct and delicious flavour profiles. Some fine adjustment to grind is needed to really bring out the true character but I’m sure they will be on top of this with their ground offerings.”

“FAB-U-LOUS !! Have bought coffee on several occasions now from Jericho Coffee Traders and have never been let down. They have a huge range of coffee to choose from. Choosing your coffee is very simple as the descriptions are very detailed and accurate, ordering and reordering process very simple and best of all delivery is unbelievably fast putting those big named brands to shame !! Have recommended to several friends and family who are now enjoying there coffee. If your in Oxford visiting I strongly recommend visiting there shop and café, there staff are so lovely and full of helpful tips too! I bought a bean to cup coffee machine and was looking for advices on how to set up the perfect grinding setting they were more than happy to advice what would be best starting point and how to adjust to produce the perfect coffee. Thank you JCT”

“I find that the blends from Jericho Coffee Traders are considerably superior to other blends that I've tried recently, although I tend to stick with my favourites: Explorer, The Source and, more recently, Slava Ukraini. I hope that Slava Ukraini becomes permanently part of your range.”

“I’m a regular customer who usually orders from your company to have a special beans. However, my recently ordered #19371 and the ordered suppose tow whole roasted beans as 500mg bag, then I received 227mg as you can see in the picter attached! So I made payment as 500mg of whole beans but I received 227mg of while beans?”
