“Loved the fabric and impressed by quick service.Sadly the fabric had a join in it across the width leaving a raised hump across the entire fabric on one side. It took a lot of juggling to fit my pattern on avoiding this ridge as I wanted the jacket to be reversible, only just did it.”
“I ordered a set of samples (4) and the fabrics were lovely, as always. However, for samples, they need to be labelled in some way. For example, other online shops staple them to a piece of card and write #1, #2, #3, etc. next to the staples, and then include an order list with the relevant numbers written against the list, so that you can cross-reference. Thankfully, on this occassion, I was able to tell the samples apart because I ordered the same fabric in two different shades (Devon Plain Cotton in baby blue and white), so I worked out the other samples by deduction. But if I'd not ordered the white, it would've been more difficult to tell the fabrics apart, at least the 'Devon Plain Cotton - Baby Blue' and 'Cotton Classics - Pale Blue - Plain Chambray Pale Blue', which defeats the point of ordering samples really.”
“I ordered cotton muslin to make light curtains which, after a delay due to a fault in the muslin, came quickly and well packaged. I also received an apology for the delay.
So when I came to cut out and sew my curtains I was so disappointed that the weave seemed to be ‘ wonky’ and difficult to get a straight line.”
“The item was fine. Postage was expensive for what I bought - I did realise it was a set price - only mentioning it as a review request was emailed to me and therefore I felt obliged to give an honest opinion. Arrived promptly.
I have tried to answer q about communication but reply time jumps from 6-12 hours and then over a week?? They replied to me in a couple of days as it was over the weekend.”
“I bought a pack of Christmas fat quarters. I was a bit disappointed with the colours, they were much duller than expected. Also, they arrived in 'sheets' not folded like most fat quarters that you buy. I wanted to add them to my neat stash of fat quarters but it doesn't work. Only a minor point but quite annoying for me. The image of them was folded.”
