“Right from my first interaction with Green Retreats, enquiring about a garden office, i was very impressed with their speed, efficiency and professionalism. Once I had placed the order everything was so straight forward and planned well. The base team were very friendly and efficient and ensured we were happy with the location, explaining everything as they went. The team that came to install, lead by Martin, were excellent. Martin obviously took pride in delivering a quality service and went out of his way to ensure we were happy with everything and assured us that aftercare servlce was equally good. The only reason i didnt give 5 stars is because they increased prices before we confirmed the order and wouldnt honour our original quote. Also there was an error in telling my landscaper where to level the ground to and consequently the building was a bit higher than we hoped but they worked round it to produce a lovely finish.”

“Very happy with the whole experience. Right from the beginning of the process everyone we dealt with was very helpful and responsive. Emily in the customer care team dealt with lots of changes to the design of our garden room in a friendly and efficient manner and kept us informed of all the key dates. Both teams who came to install the base and the actual building arrived on time and knew exactly what had to be done. Again they were very friendly and efficient. One slight issue with the electrics was sorted straight away. I would definitely recommend Green retreats.”

“Within the confines of normal business practice, our experiences with Green Retreats has been good from start to finish. We were able to fine tune our requirements to our satisfaction with no problem (obviously within the timescale laid down). The result on completion lives up to our expectations in all respects thus far. Our contacts with Green Retreats including sales, customer service and installation teams were first class. Well done, Green Retreats!”

“We were looked after very well by Luke when we visited the showroom. We were shown the options available and all our questions were answered clearly. Maria was very helpful arranging laying the base and organising the build. The workers turned up on time for the base and the build and were very polite. They worked quickly and tidily. We were consulted on the placement of the electrics and they managed to meet all our wishes. Overall everything was fantastic and we are over the moon with the garden room. The only downside was we were promised a call back on a small issue, that didn't happen. However it was a minor issue and I resolved it myself.”

“The company worked hard to give us a delightful garden room. The small heater is effective and the room is well insulated, so even when it was cold, we only needed it on for a short while. Glad we had the room plastered. There were cracks in the centre of the room in between sections of plasterboard, but the company made good efforts to repair these. The building is a lovely shape and we are very pleased with it. Friendly and helpful service. Unfortunately a year later water started leaking in the roof. Damp patches appeared on the wall. We were asked to send photos and told someone would visit when they were in the area. This did not happen so after a few weeks we contacted them again. A friendly man whose job was to go round fixing faults was shocked to see that the men who had put the room up initially had not completed the roof properly and there was a hole and other things not done right, including smaller matter like no beading around the doors. He fixed this. I had to spend time using damp sealant and then painting the wall to cover the marks. Later he did offer to paint the wall but buy then I had already done it. It is now a few months later and we have no leaks, but the damp patches are showing through again and I will need to spend more time with the sealant and then painting the wall. Also, the floor started to bend and was no longer level after about six months. The repair team had to take half the floor up in order to fix the surface underneath. Also, a really large crack has now appeared on the opposite wall, which we will have to fill, sand and then paint. So not as impressed as initially. Still like the room though and the company have been fairly good about coming to fix faults. But we live in the south of England and they are not based nearby, so they cannot come easily when there are problems. Would use a more local company in future.”

“End product is good quality. My only complaint is that the installation team were a bit grumpy and didn't seem to understand that the exact location of the garden room was important for planning purposes. Otherwise I am very happy.”
