“The ordering and delivery process were very good. This was a large delivery of concrete posts and panels but it all went smoothly, the lorry driver was on time and very efficient. We arranged a local contractor to assemble the fence (seven 6' x 1' concrete panels on top of each other slotted into the posts) and they immediately said the concrete was of poor quality. On closer inspection the finish was quite rough with a few chips here and there but the real problem was the panels were not all the same size so this meant as they were put in place gaps appeared which in turn threw off the line from one section to the next. The overall effect was quite disappointing. We tweaked the design in the end and bought an additional intermediate post from our contractor and the quality difference was plain to see. Yes, the Welsh post was cheaper but having seen the difference I'd have happily paid more for the better quality. Overall we're happy with the fence now it's been painted and planting will hide the worst of the problems. We feel Welsh's offered a reasonable product for the price but in hindsight would have made a different choice if we'd seen the goods first.”

“Very pleased with the materials provided for my fence. The delivery charge was very reasonable and it was happily put in the garage for me by the delivery driver who arrived early on the day of expected delivery. I have stained the wood myself and really pleased with the outcome.”

“Great website, easy to choose what you want and the site tells you what sizes you need for posts etc. great communication via email. The only fly in the ointment was their delivery driver. Arrived at 7.30am. Was grumpy. Told me he needed 2 cars moving, I moved mine but didn’t know who the other belonged to. When I asked if he was ok to deliver it as I could only move my car he ignored me and walked off. Fence is great quality and looks lovely”
