The ordering and delivery process were very good. This was a large delivery of concrete posts and panels but it all went smoothly, the lorry driver was on time and very efficient. We arranged a local contractor to assemble the fence (seven 6' x 1' concrete panels on top of each other slotted into the posts) and they immediately said the concrete was of poor quality. On closer inspection the finish was quite rough with a few chips here and there but the real problem was the panels were not all the same size so this meant as they were put in place gaps appeared which in turn threw off the line from one section to the next. The overall effect was quite disappointing. We tweaked the design in the end and bought an additional intermediate post from our contractor and the quality difference was plain to see. Yes, the Welsh post was cheaper but having seen the difference I'd have happily paid more for the better quality. Overall we're happy with the fence now it's been painted and planting will hide the worst of the problems. We feel Welsh's offered a reasonable product for the price but in hindsight would have made a different choice if we'd seen the goods first.
