“These gloves are nice and well manufactured. The package arrived at home in perfect condition and delicately wrapped. The sizes is good but the buttons sewn make them a bit difficult to wear.”

“Horrendous customer service & returns unbefitting a brand of its stature. I purchased 2 (gorgeous) pairs of gloves - one leather, one fingerless silk - in the same size. I tried the leather pair on and gently flexed my hand in it to try to decide if it "fit like a glove" or was too tight. I determined it was too tight and (with some delay because I was in the final stages of planning my wedding) initiated a return. The return slip cost me $30+. Upon receiving my return, the customer service agent emailed that it was not in good enough condition to sell and therefore she would offer 40% store credit. I replied that this wouldn't do, given that I had bought 2 pairs in the same size and one didn't fit and given that after merely trying on in my home I couldn't return. The same thing could happen again and I would be out even more hundreds of dollars! I requested the full purchase amount back on my card, but offered openness to negotiate the precise amount. Instead of making a counter offer, I was informed a couple days later that because I didn't want store credit, they were shipping the gloves back to me. I wish I could share a more positive review, because the products themselves are absolutely stunning, but buyers deserve to be aware of the challenges they may face in the event a return is necessary.”

“My experience was really good. I wanted to say special thanks to the Cornelia James customer experience team. I've ordered the gloves for my wedding, however, when I received the order 2 weeks later, the box contained incorrect gloves. I messaged the customer experience team the same day complaining about the issue and highlighting that my wedding was coming soon and I needed the correct gloves. Only a few hours later the customer experience team replied back saying there was a mistake with the order, they took full responsibility and they had already sent me the correct gloves with urgent delivery. I was very pleased and I received the correct gloves in time for my wedding. Out of all my experiences during my wedding preparation, Cornelia James really stood out. Anyone can make mistakes, but the way they handled it was very impressive. Huge thanks to the customer experience team!”

“The customer service the terrific. Before purchasing my gloves, I had a few questions and my emails were answered very quickly, especially considering we're on different continents. I wanted gloves to protect my hands from the tropical Florida sun and to protect my handbag from all the potions I put on my hands. I decided to order the Leonora style in gray to wear with all my bright colors. They are perfect. I'm receiving lovely compliments.”

“The 95 year old lady that received the beautiful cashmere scarf said she felt like “ queen for a day”! the packaging was gorgeous. the box. the he chiffon ribbon. the tissue with a gold stamp the handwritten note. was ALL PERFECT! classy 100%.”
