“I'm so pleased with the process of ordering from start to finish. The gloves are very nice quality and fit very well. The gloves I have had for years we're purchased at Nordstrom's about 25 years ago. Unfortunately, I lost one of the gloves. I do think that Cornelia James comes very close to the original old school gloves. I would highly recommend this manufacturer. The packaging of the product was outstanding the care taken in putting everything together was fantastic.”

“I was disappointed when I opened the box.. The bridal gloves were lovely, but in comparison to my first experience I was not excited. They were short, made of tulle, with no fabric casing. They were more expensive than the first ones I purchased that were long, made of silk, and had a fabric casing…those left me breathless when I opened the box. CJ sent me the missing casing, but it arrived after the wedding, and I no longer had the bridal gloves anyway; they turned up missing after the reception. I was sad because I’d planned on giving them to my granddaughter as an heirloom. I contacted CJ and let them know, and to my surprise, they sent me a second pair at no charge! Unfortunately, I was disappointed again when I opened the box; they sent me the wrong gloves. I wrote to CJ and told them what happened, but there was no response.”

“I love my new opera gloves. The look great and fit perfectly. The only thing I didn’t expect before purchase was having to buy the expensive return label to ship a different set of gloves back that didn’t match my dress.”

“I lost one of my beautiful Elsbeth gloves. I wrote to Cornelia James asking if I could purchase a replacement. They found the original order and quickly replaced the lost glove. Payment was simple and shipping to the US was fast!”

“As always, I adore my Cornelia James gloves. The quality and attention to detail is 100% beyond compare, but I was disappointed (hence the 4 stars of 5) to not receive a fabric bag inside the elegant presentation box in order to store my latest glove purchase. My previous glove purchases (silk and leather) included the fabric storage bag, and I assumed the merino glove would as well.”
