“This was our second pair of CJ gloves this month. both sets weer 7.5 incg /11.0 inch. The first pair, order number 29361 (black), fit perfectly. This second pair, order number 29527, were a bit too loose at the upper arm and slid down, even though they too were 11.0 inches like the first pair. We measured both pairs of gloves at the upper arm for comparison, and the 29361 (black) gloves were slightly less than 11.0 inches, perhaps acounting for the tighter (and more desireable) fit. They were actually 5.0 inches across when folded, and witrh a more stretchy fabric/material. By contrast, the 29527 (grey) gloves were 5.25 inches across and with a less stretchy fabric. Perhaps these two factors. when taken in combination, account for the "too loose" fit of the 29527 grey gloves. Given the unsatisfactory fit of the 29527 grey gloves, would CJ consider remaking the grey gloves for us, so that they would be more like the 29361 black gloves? To be more like the properly fitting black gloves, they would have to be a bit less than the nominal 11.0 inches at the upper arm. Please let me know. Thanks.”

“The process of ordering was simple, and the gloves came quickly - within a week. I ordered three pair and sent one back. The gloves are beautiful, I love my mauve-rose gloves, and at my age loving a piece of clothing is a rare thing. The gloves are a beautiful color, the material is a soft velvet, none of the victoriasSecret faux velvet thats rough on one side.... no this is lovely. the style ... about lower mid arm, gathered, with a wild sprig of tuille on the wrists! These gloves are both Elegant and fun, I cannot recommend them more. They will be perfect for a serious evening - like the Grammys, where you must both stand out (something unusual) and also look top drawer (nothing unusual). The assortment available at Cornelia James covers most styles. And browsing also gives one the opportunity to pick something different than you might have been planning. I certianly did. I originally wanted a wrist length, white suede glove - to wear with all black a cape and top hat.... like dr. J. and Mr. H - that guy had to dress for both characters! I was tempted to buy the cotton white, but it felt more minstrel and less England, 1880. Well Maybe next time.”
