"I ordered the 'La Petite Vest Waistcoat Sewing Pattern' by Atelier Brunette and it arrived quickly and was well packaged. It was a cute pattern, although the translation into English wasn't the best. I made it in a linen fabric for the Summer. I'll definitely make it again."

"Half done so far
Lovely fabric and design
Only quibble is the Pearl buttons which I shall replace with something more robust
I’ve lined the pockets and the bin with contrast fabric
Sewed round the pattern on the right side so I could see where the design was when machining on the wrong side of the fabric
Wish I’d thought of that before I made previous clothkits items!"

"Really enjoyed making this skirt. The instructions are straightforward, but you need to be accurate with the hems. Fortunately, both fabrics iron easily to facilitate this. The Echino fabric is pretty so I hated having to cut off the top part to make the right length. The Liberty lining is a quality fabric that really adds to the finished garment & I would definitely use again. I made a Japanese origami bag with the offcuts, as I couldn't bear to waste any of the fabric!"

"Charlotte demonstrated and gave clear, easy to follow step by step guide to darning, building onto more details of how to darn, backed up by a sheet of notes. She showed us different techniques, samples and aids to use. I have been darning with confidence, all week since the course! Thank you Charlotte & Clothkits. "

"I love these doll kits, this is the third one I’ve made as gifts, this one is for my grandson. The clothes are super cute, especially the owl print pyjamas. "

"I am an experienced dressmaker and enjoyed making these dungarees.
I would say the instructions were quite basic and it did take a little working out.
The buttons supplied although lovely, were a little too large to fit so that the straps matched up with the same pattern on the garment; I used a smaller button.
A very striking, fun pair of dungarees"
