“Aym studio is only getting 4 out of 5 stars from me today because the echo dress i ordered had a lot of lose threads from the stitching done that I had to take care of. Which isn't major of course but I was really excited to look at the attention to detail the shop said they give to clothing. It's a beautiful dress and i'm so excited to wear it for my graduationnext month and I'm also very glad that the dres isn't crazy long. I'm 5'1 and i'm gonna pair the dress with some beautiful gold heels; I thought they were gonna have to be super tall for the dress to be shown off but that is thankfully not the case!”

“Love the «venus» dress, the fit is perfect and the colour is so beautiful. There was a few loose or exsess threads, but the dress is still intact. It does feel a little «unnsafe» to tighten too hard, it feels like the seam and strings are going to rip off.”

“Hi, The dress is super flattering and comfortable and arrived in short time's notice. Love the fit and the attention to detail. However, I am a 80C cup, and the bust feels quite tight for me. I ordered a size S, and evryting else fits perfectly, so sizing up would not have been an option. Otherwise, very satisfied !”

“Overall I really like this brand, the clothes are well made comfortable and you can tell the fabric is very high quality they are also very flattering, however the corseted back of some of the dresses is very difficult to adjust on your own this is coming from a hyper mobile person but you can’t just pull on the bottom ties you have to individually tighten each piece which takes time and more than two hands if you want a form fitting look and feel especially if I expect enough support to go braless. That and the fact that despite the high quality and thick fabric you can still see every detail on my body is a little annoying (belly button ribs, nipples, underwear etc) because it makes these gorgeous dresses feel a little more scandalous than I’d prefer. Overall I love the pieces I have and I will continue to wear them regularly I just wanted to give a completely honest review.”

“I absolutely loved my dress! I ordered the Athena, in the natural color. I ordered it in a L because I am a large chest, but small band girl and unfortunately the fabric was a little snug in the chest area so I wasn’t too comfortable to wear it without a bra (though I’ve seen reviews and their product videos that it’s possible to wear it without, maybe if I sized up it would’ve been possible). I am around 5’6” or 5’7” and the dress was a perfect length with heels, definitely just a little too long if I were to wear it with flats. Other than those, I still loved the dress! I wore it to a ball and got so many compliments on it! It’s such an elegant dress and yet, I feel like I can still wear it casually. Would love to get it in more colors and would definitely buy more of their other dresses in the future!”

“I love the dress I purchased, but I ordered the ballet wrap top to pair with it and the two are completely different colors! I love the pine green, but the top is almost teal and is obviously a very different color from the dress. I’ve attached a photo for reference. I was so excited to have the paired option to make the dress long-sleeved, so I’m really frustrated that they don’t match at all.”

“Great fit, true to size. I would downsize if unsure. There are a lot of fabric and the layering provides a flattering movement to the dresses. The fitting on the back is worth a million! It makes the dress support in just the right places. The washing instructions says primary cold hand wash, which is a drawback. The fabric is also mainly polyester which unfortunately contracts, contains and enforce any unpleasant odors, like sweat.”

“I love this product. The fabric is very nice and very nicely made. Surprisingly came really fast. Only downside which is at no fault of the company is the Canadian exchange is quite high, I planed on buying to dressed because of how beautiful and comfortable they are but with shipping and exchange rate would have been over $400 for me. Only sucks because the dress is so wonderful. Definitely would recommend and will be buying in the future.”

“The quality of the dress I ordered was amazing, and it looks great. I can't give a five stars for this order, though, as there was an oversight in the design of this dress: the waist seam is not stretchy enough to accomodate for shoulders. My shoulders are not especially wide, but I am thin and have a small waist: as a result and trusting the size chart, I ordered an XS. Result: the dress looks and feels great on, but it is an ordeal to get in and out of it. I actually broke the waist seam removing it for the first time. Luckily, I can sew and fixed it (with a zig-zag stitch, this time), but I wonder how this issue didn't come up in testing. TLDR: if you are thinking of ordering a smaller size (XXS, XS, maybe even S), remember that this dress needs to go over your shoulders, and consider sizing up.”

“I honestly love the dress, and I like the fact that it holds up the bust despite it being quite large. However, I bought it for a couple of summer weddings I'm having in Italy this summer, and I'm afraid I'll sweat a lot because of the heaviness of the fabric, not only in the armpits but also in the back and under the breasts. If I had known before, I don't know if I would have bought it. It is really beautiful, though, and I will definitely find a way to wear it now that I have it.”

“Haven’t purchased anything from AYM in a while, but it used to be my go to place for basic dresses— I discovered the brand back when it still did special orders where you could pick a style (i.e: the Girlfriend dress), a colour and a fabric and followed a sustainability-facing model/brand message. I see the brand has grown so much (congratulations, well deserved!) and has come out with a lot of styles. I also love the collab with Sojo— I thought it was really innovative! I also really love how the original pieces were capsule wardrobe staples, I still wear some of them to work. Some of the darker colour pieces do stain/bleed into other fabrics, so I have to be careful where I sit/what I wear with them. My only caveats now regarding the shopping experience, as the brand has evolved and is facing increased demand, is the preordering system and the increased amount of dress styles coming out— sometimes the restock or waiting times are a bit lengthy for some styles, but I understand it’s to meet the demand in a sustainable way.”

“love the clothing, but for me as a size l/xl-girly, I dont have too much representation, especially on the AVA-mini dress. I know you have a lot of represetation, but I had the wrong size, because i couldn't compare myself with the models for this dress. sadly i have to send my dress back and reorder it in another size and length”

“Dear AYM team, first of all I want to thank you for making my purchase as quick, nice and easy as possible. The colors and quality is really well. However, personally I would prefer the short dresses to be a bit longer and maybe to have an option for tall girls with a lower waist. “One of the items in the order was amazing, but the other one not so much. The fabric seemed a bit washed compared to the other one. Also it smelled a bit weird. We've send it for a refund. The delivery was a bit long also, but this was expected for pre-order and international shipping.”
