“I would just like too thank this company for going out of there way, to get 7 boxes laminate flooring that discontinued to me, they even arranged getting the laminate to me 100 plus miles away. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Delivery driver was great aswell. Thankyou very much Barry”

“Aquoustic Midnight Blue wood panelling is gorgeous. Price was so reasonable and the cheapest after shopping around. Look fabulous on my walls. Delivered on time and in perfect condition.”

“Nicely finished product , well painted , slight warps in a few bars but was able to cut these out -make sure to allow a couple extra for this reason but overall very pleased hallway looks magnificent”

“From our initial conversation in store, to arranging measuring, ordering, delivery and fitting, we could not fault the level of customer service. Kain in the showroom was very friendly and knowledgeable. The delivery guy (sorry didn’t get his name) was polite and courteous. The floor fitter Andy did a brilliant job of fitting the floor. We would definitely recommend A Wood Idea.”

“Good service, good product - only minor issues are that the protective plastic that is stuck to the glass is impossible to remove. Also the door latch was missing from delivery - although this was swiftly and professionally dealt with”

“Very nice berry Aloc herringbone flooring. Matched our existing flooring very well. Good price. However despatch was very slow, had to chase this as it was at the warehouse for ages. Not much correspondence. Delivery was rubbish, I had asked for the company to phone me 30 mins before delivery to make sure I was in. They were just about to leave it at the front of my house on my path, thankfully I was in and saw the driver. He wasn’t fussed, saying “well its here innit”. Nothing signed for, just drove off. £450 of flooring could have been stolen off my doorstep. Change your courier. On unpacking the floor, quite a few were damaged on the edges. The courier must have thrown it around the lorry. Thankfully I had ordered 10% extra. So just enough. Couldn’t be bothered to go through the rigmarole of ordering more, as it took far too long to get the first lot. Thanks.”
