“Sweatre was not what I expected so I returned it. I would not have risked buying it in the first place if I had know that there is a £25 cost to return it!!!!
Most sellers offer free returns, or certainly a lot less than £25.
This needs to be made clear at pont of sale.”
“Hi while your products are great I was let down by your customer services . The order was placed on 15th of January and not delivered till 27 if January v. I tried to ring customer services several times but got no answer . I emailed as well but no reply . This in my opinion is not good customer practice.

“Disappointing! The sweater model is beautiful and warm but unfortunately the knitting is poorly made. After 5 short wears the threads are already loosen and broken in some parts. I will not buy again or recommend it to anyone considering is not really cheap. I have not washed it or break it on anything.”
“I ordered the below item on January 10th. I hoped it would arrive in time for my wife's Birthday on January 21st. However it didn't arrive until Tusday 28th January. I sent three emails. In response to my second email I was told I had already signed it tor it . I had not. I hadn't yet received it. “I really wanted to own a real genuine aran woollen jumper. I read up on it and saw Toast talk about it and believed in supporting the heritage of it, so I went for a jumper for my husband and one for myself for Christmas. The £26 tax on top of the purchase was not a nice surpise, but with the first-purchase discount it wasn't an issue. It weight each other out, if you see what I mean. Then I got the jumpers, but the quality especially of my dark blue one with lighter spots was poor; what looked like a badly spun yarn very loosely knitted made the garment look thin. I have to wear something dark underneath it, or it'll show that it's thin. It's too light in weight, so that shows you the "quality;" it's just not there. My husband's one is a little heavier, but I expected the quality of mine to be the same, but both should be better really. I was very disappointed and would've returned them, was it not that I would've lost the £26 and would not be any better for it. I've now worn it twice and notice things quite easily hang in it/attach to it. It's new wool, but not a very high quality with a long fibre therefore, or it wouldn't have done that. So if this is the traditional way to make a typically Irish Aran jumper, then that's my first and last one. Sorry. I'd been really looking forward to owning one, but I feel really badly let down.”

“The discrepancy between the sizes, even of the same model but with a different colour was too much.
Both of the sweaters I ordered (of the same model) were considerably larger than what's indicated on their website. However one of them was much larger than the other, even though it was the same model with just a different colour, and it wasn't just a little bit larger but 4-5 inches larger. Worse is that the arm lengths of this particular sweater were disproportionately larger than the body, as was the arm width.
So while I could adjust the first sweater with a short wash in my washing machine, this second one took me several weeks to get into something I could actually wear, although the end result was not that pretty. I'm surprised nobody at the company actually checks these things, i.e. does quality checks.
Returning a product from outside of Ireland or the UK is not that convenient, for me it was not a realistic option. Safe to say I will not order from Aran Woollen Mills again, the discrepancy is just too much, it's too much of gamble if you order from abroad.”
“Wrong size was ordered and I needed to return. On first attempt, was informed that the size I got was what was ordered. I already knew that. Took 2 more emails to get return info. Not easy with international. $30.00 charge to return. Still no credit on account. Unless you know your size, do not order”

“Gorgeous sweater, I love it. However, it smelt of sheep soooooo much I had to wash it before wearing. It still does after one wash but I guess not so much and I am getting so used to it I don't notice after the first ten minutes. And yeah, I do know what I'm talking about as I have lived on a farm with sheep. It is beautiful and the packaging was excellent, as was the delivery, and I feel mean about mentioning the smell, but you did ask”
