“I purchased a Salmo Thrill Seeker Lure Rod from Angling Active specifically to use on the Gloucester Canal which is wider and deeper than most Canal’s in the UK to target pike , Zander and Perch . The rod is specifically designed to fish “Hard Lures “ and the 8ft 10” length aids with the casting distance on this wider Canal. I’ve used the rod once and it has been a pleasure to use and its performance ticks all the boxes . Excellent purchase , excellent service , excellent performance from the rod .”
