“Excellent service and prompt delivery. I am new to pizza making having recently received an Ooni Pizza Oven as a retirement present so still learning the art of shaping the dough, although I am told practice makes perfect !”

“The product I received was well packaged and easy to get going. The Quality of the food was way above average and whilst preparing the pizzas this made it easier to prepare. I produced 26 pizzas for staff and family members, all of which enjoyed their food. Many of them commented on the way, Oh the base on these pizzas are amazing. What's the sauce it's so good! My wife had tried these before and when given a pizza last night she was over the moon. I heard her quietly on her own making those nice yummy noises and appreciating the flavour as she went. A staff memeber took one home for their child, although they don't complement food very often. was so delighted with what they had eaten. His mum couldn't wait to tell me. To say this product was nice is an understatement. this was amazing!!! The Meat supplied was exceptional.”

“With much anticipation - I meticulously followed your instructions and watched all the online videos. However, the frozen dough balls simply didn't 'prove' noticeablely in size as anticipated. I used individual proving containers and ensuring the dough balls were fully thawed at room temperature. This was obviously reflected in making the pizzas. The dough was difficult to stretch and shape. Welcome your thoughts -”

“The pizza dough balls were easy to order, and arrived on the specified date (48 hours) Enjoyed making pizza with friends on August bank holiday. Friends were all very impressed :)!”

“Found the GF pizza was difficult to get thin without it breaking up so when cooked in an ordinary oven it was very crisp on the outside and soggy on the inside. Not easy to find where to collect them from as no signage either on the road or through the barrier!”

Sorry you found it hard to find us, we aren't a retail site, but we did try to make it clear on the email where to go on the farm to get to reception. Thank you for trying us this time

“Excellent, one-stop site for pizza accessories and ingredients. This was my second order of sourdough pizza bases which are the best I have tasted; very good value nduja and interesting charcuterie. Named day delivery, free over a certain spend (which isn't hard to do)”

“I ordered through this company to cater for my gluten-free relatives for a party. I ordered weeks in advance. I got a call on the day before delivery saying GF was unavailable and it would arrive a day late - it never arrived. Really disappointed with the service.”

“I bought the Gluten free dough balls and also the sour dough pro balls. Usually make my own dough but as my wife recently gone gluten free, plus the horror of trying to make my own gluten free dough, thought I’d buy some in. Looked at the virtue website, looked ok and took the plunge. Cooked pizzas last night and firstly, what a huge help the PDF sheets were, they take the uncertainty out of the equation, top marks. The gluten free dough is completely different to regular dough, very fragile with virtually no stretch, but due to advanced warning, a plan could be hatched. Rolling out as opposed to hand street is a must for the beginner and if you roll out, then roll onto a rolling pin, then lay onto the launch peel, works a treat. The feedback regarding taste from the wife is “wow, are you sure these are gluten free? Tastes like normal pizza, not cardboard as I was expecting “. That is praise indeed! The sour dough was a breeze too, follow the basic tops and you’ll be fine Overall, very pleased indeed with the product and service. I will look no further for frozen dough balls, Virtue have it covered. We’ll done folks, great job on all fronts. Only negative feedback , I did call but no answer at all, couldn’t leave a message. But a small issue really.”
