“The cream did not have a shade near enough my skin colour, even if I was to mix it. Additionally the cream sample leaves a powdery appearance which will bring attention to you. Therefore blending is not a option because of the issue mentioned. Therefore no star. Regards Customer”

“I'm sorry to have to say that Veil didn't work at all covering an area on the top of each of my feet where there are a great many tiny thread veins. I applied Veil carefully, and exactly as directed, but the cream just gave a very 'chalky' look to my feet, drawing just as much attention to the blemishes as when the veins were uncovered. I found Veil to be no better than a very cheap concealer made by Lottie which one can buy from Superdrug - it's not successful either, but it 'covers' just as well as Veil. Maybe I chose the wrong colour Veil but I don't feel I want to spend more money buying the darker shades (I am generally light-skinned) only to find they don't cover well either! VERY disappointed in Veil. It was suggested to me by the nurse at a well known cosmetic surgeon's London practice - she had heard of it but didn't know anyone who had used it - I said I would let her know how it had, or hadn't, worked for me. Sadly for me, it hasn't worked.”

“Paid for expedited, tracked International delivery but it’s been a week and a half and I still haven’t received my cream. It’s also only tracable until it leaves the uk and they don’t tell you that. Veil cream, figure out proper shipping beyond the uk!”

“I bought the light sample pack. I'm quite pale so was surprised that the most usable shade was the darkest. I might have bought the medium pack had I known The product itself is good. I'm no make up expert though. I bought the product to cover scars around eyes after surgery. It cover scars well.”

“Got this to cover my vitiligo, it didn’t cover it at all! Tried using it in multiple ways and still nothing. Conventional makeup does a better job than this supposed ‘camouflage cream.’ Don’t waste your money people”

“Posting this review on behalf of my wife, the item was dispatched on the 2.1.19. It has just been received now on the 12th. Too late for my wife , as she has now gone away for a while and was wanting this cream for this journey. Extremely poor service by someone !!!”

Dear Donna, We received and replied to your email on 12th December regarding your order and delivery. Due to the Canada Post industrial action parcels to Canada are taking longer, please see details As a result of industrial action which took place between 22 October and 27 November, Canada Post has accumulated a backlog of items due for delivery. Royal Mail has processed all items bound for Canada and these have been passed to Canada Post. However, due to the build-up of mail during and following the strikes, Canada Post are no longer able to commit to their usual delivery aims. Kind regards Veil Team UK

“Not good on covering scar if anything it looked more prominent. Ordered on Saturday arrived Friday told I did not pay extra delivery so it was sent second class. Not worth the money as I can't use it. Should have thrown money in charity box. Would not recommend”
