“Una vez finalizado nuestro viaje por la Polinesia Francesa con el velero Panorama II de la compañía Variety Cruises, queremos dejar constancia de nuestra disconformidad por no respetar el recorrido contratado. El 25 de febrero, en el primer breefing y presentación de la tripulación, el capitán nos informó que habían 3 islas ( Makatea, Rangiroa i Tikehau) que no íbamos a visitar por las malas condiciones climatológicas. A cambio nos ofrecian gratuitamente un tour alrededor de la isla de Tetiaroa en catamarán . Nunca llegamos a hacer este tour también por problemas de climatología. A cambio nos regalaron una excursión y una comida. Con esta última anulación fueron 4 las islas no visitadas. Sabemos que la compañia puede modificar el recorrido por problemas climatológicos adversos repentinos, pero si antes de zarpar el barco ya son conocedores de que la temporada no es la mejor para visitar las islas del Norte, ¿Porqué las ofrecen ? Pagamos el circuito de 10 dias para visitar las mismas islas que el circuito de 7 dias. La máxima puntuación a la tripulación y a la comida. Los camarotes son muy pequeños y anticuados.”

“We are a couple in our 30s who love travelling and exploring the most beautiful spots of the world, but this was a special trip: our honeymoon. We chose a boutique cruise and was a delight, nothing to do with the crowds of regular cruises. The attention was 5 star… Not just the honeymoon treats and decor that we found in our room, but everyday details like having your towels ready for you at the end of the excursions, or the fresh perfumed face towel and glass of juice waiting for you as you get on the boat after every snorkelling make you feel really pampered. There is also a spa for treatments and massage that we didn’t get to try. We also loved being able to go kayak or paddle board around the boat any time the boat was stopped. It was perfect to get to all the special spots at the right time, and it felt like having the place to yourself! Also we got to explore most of the Seychelles and to learn about the Islands in the most confortable way. The excursions were diverse so you could keep a more calm pace or jump into the adventure depending on your mood. The beaches and sea life we saw was amazing, but there’s also a lot of jurassic nature and animals to see (feeding the giant turtles and holding their little babies is an incredible memory that will stay with us) The crew was incredibly attentive and charming, it felt like home! And what to say about the food... like the foodie I am, this is a HUGE matter and I believe all the passengers agreed that it was definitely top notch! Both local and international food was really well made. For us, discovering the cuisine of the destinations we travel to is a must. Also the wine and beverage selection was broad and perfectly advised. The creole night was super fun, and also fishing from the boat at night! I fish a barracuda! We truly had an amazing experience that will stay in our hearts forever.”

“A Pegasus cruise is the best choice if you want to see more than three islands in the Seychelles. We were on a weekly cruise, I know that they are also shorter, but I recommend this one-week cruise with all my heart. The ship is intimate and therefore has its own unique atmosphere. the entire crew Captain, Officers, Hotel Manager, Zodiac team, waiters, bartender, cleaning ladies make you feel like in the family. All are very hospitable. The meals are very tasty and the chef has a unique talent. Evening meetings are a very good idea, during which from the guide we learn information about the island that we will visit for the next day, a PowerPoint presentation is prepared and we get a lot of interesting information about the place we will see. The atmosphere is really fantastic, returning from excursions, the crew is waiting for us on the ship with music and it made us feel like the most anticipated guests. Having traveled many times on cruises on large ships, I have never felt it this way. cabins are very comfortable cleaned daily. the longest time that the ship sails is 3 hours, if someone is seasick, the crew makes sure that they take the pill. The captain pays great attention not to swim during meals so that passengers can eat in peace. Music evenings are organized. The captain also invites you to visit the captain's bridge. The hotel manager asks the guests many times a day if everything is okay or if they need anything. I would like to emphasize that the atmosphere is unique and I will certainly recommend a Pegasus cruise and Variety Cruises to everyone. Greetings to the entire crew, Joanna and Szymon”

“In March I booked a Variety cruise on Panorama II for September. I was told in July the ship was leaving Greece for Tahiti the following day. In August I contacted Variety to pay the balance & was told the ship had not left Greece. I was not updated & wonder if I had not contacted them if they would have told me.”

“I decided to book Galileo Cruise thanks to the great reviews it had. I recentlu went on this amazing cruise and I feel obligated to share my experience. The boat is well designed as far as practically and comfortability. I felt at home on the ship as the crew made me feel comfortable. The itinerary was so wonderful: we visited Paros, Antiparos, Foligrandos, Delos, Mykonos, Santorini and my favourite island Syros which is a jem! I will be back! Roberta Casetti”

“Travelled on Variety Voyager for the Classical Greece - the ship was bigger than we had anticipated, beautifully maintained throughout. The cabin was a good size as was the bathroom. All the staff without exception - from those who worked below deck to those who were customer fronting, were friendly & courteous. Yota the Hotel Manager was fantastic, there wasn't anything that was too much trouble for her & we often saw her getting stuck in to assist her team. Probably the 2 disappointments for us were created by bad weather/rough seas and that was a)only one swim stop & b)not having a lot of time on Mykonos (we chose to do the Delos excursion, which we don't regret), but it meant a couple of hours on Mykonos, so no beaches and literally time only to have a meal. The best recommendation we can give for Variety Cruises is the fact that we look forward to being onboard another of their vessels, doing another wonderful trip in the not too distant future.”

“We returned from a cruise in Seychelles in April. From start to finish ( and I didn’t want it to finish ) it was wonderful. I have to say the staff on board were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble and they went out of there way to please and help you. The safety on board was very professional, my husband had a bit of an issue in the sea and the staff were onto it immediately and he was picked up and taken out of the water. The food was amazing. It was always good with lots of variety and beautifully presented, amazing what the chef can achieve in the small galley. This was our 4th cruise with Variety but won’t be our last. I really would like to go on Galileo next year but I would like to transfer staff from Pegasus to Galileo. I am sure the staff on board will be great, they always are.”

“Our first holiday abroad for over two years and it did not disappoint. In fact, it exceeded all our expectations! Galileo (Antiquity) was just stunning our second trip on her. Valeria (see picture below) remembered us from the Cyclades, 5 years ago - apparently, she never forgets a face - and she is briliiant at what she does. Evgania was informative and bubbling with enthusiasm. Nikos was charming and excellent at re-organising when things could not go to plan (like a strike at Olympia and an unexpected storm). All the crew and staff were outstanding. All this coupled with blue skies and carpets of wildflowers everywhere along with ancient stones and medieval towns and castles was the stuff of dreams. Thank you so much for running this trip when the ship was less than a quarter full. We have done the Cyclades trip and we wanted to book Dubrovnik to Athens but we understand you are not running it in 2023.”

“We sailed on the MS Galileo around the Peloponnese. It was fantastic! Having Jennie along as our guide made all the difference in the world, I learned so much and saw so many amazing archeological and historical places! The beauty of Greece and stopping in ports where the large cruise ships can’t go was perfect. It was a calm nice trip. Perfect for relaxing. The crew on board was extremely nice from the wait staff to the housekeepers to the cruise director Nikos. All were friendly, jumped to serve and pleasant. The seas were mostly calm, sitting outside on the decks while we sailed was an awesome experience blue sky, light breeze, beauty all around, new friends. By the week’s end we knew everyone on board by first name and I miss them already. What a once in a lifetime experience!! We did struggle a few times with cool showers not sure if that’s something they can fix? But I learned to rise early or shower in the afternoon and conserve by turning off the water to lather then rinse. It is an older small ship after all.”
