"From the 4\/07\/2025 -11\/07\/2025, we had the privilege and pleasure of sailing on the Harmony V on the \u201cClassical Greece \u201c cruise. \r\nThis is the second time we have cruised with Variety. Imagine our delight when we recognized Captain Andreas Sifniotis as our Captain once again. \r\nEvery aspect of the cruise was handled superbly. The Captain\u2019s attention to the safety of all on board, \u00a0his leadership of the crew , his accessibility and friendly, caring communication with all the passengers and most of all, his unbelievable ability to make each and everyone feel special. This is indeed a rare skill. \r\nHis amazing spirit of professionalism, kindness, and service is continued in his entire crew. \r\nThe officers, engineers and sailors were wonderful and the passengers felt cared for and comfortable even when the winds were strong and the sea rocking and rolling.\r\nDuring swim stops, we felt secure and confident as the crew kept watching out for us. \r\nThis also true embarking and disembarking the ship at all stops. \r\nThe hotel manager, Anand is outstanding. He \u00a0took constant care that every aspect of the \u201chotel\u201d on board was five star all the time. From the delicious, varied meals ( Compliments to the Chefs Alameldin and Ziad), to the excellent housekeeping services, \u00a0Amalia and Rina. Valeria at the Bar, and the excellent dining room team, Kavi and Made,- All were wonderful, attending to every need. \r\nWe all felt like royalty!\r\nSophia was terrific as the cruise co-ordinator ,making sure everyone was well advised as to what to do and see, and where to go on each island that we visited., and organizing excursions for the passengers who desired. \r\nThe authentic \u00a0Cretan dancing was lively and fun and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the daily briefings. \r\nWe would like to thank Captain Andreas, his crew and everyone concerned at Variety cruises for this outstanding holiday. We really appreciate the thought, planning, organization and execution that resulted in our best cruise ever."

“Jewels of the Cyclades, Galileo. Wonderful, fun cruise.”

“MS Galileo. Jewels of the Cyclades. We had a wonderful time. We booked a C cabin because from previous experience on these type of boats we do not spend any time in the cabin. This was again the case and were happy with our choice. However the rooms are smaller and we did have twin beds so if you are a first timer on this experience be prepared. We would not change our boat choice and loved the swim spots and the generous time spent in port. The food was good and the boat was well cared for. The crew were great. The only thing I would do differently was the excursion on Santorini. The tour of the ancient ruins of Ackrotori was well done but this was all that was required because IOS and Fira are easily accessed by local bus at a much cheaper option? A great holiday and wonderful weather and scenery”

“The organization and the personal attention of this crew was exceptional. The food was very good and the swim stops and ports of call were precisely as advertised. The rest day at the end was well deserved as we cruised back to Athens. The engine noise was a bit of a distraction, but all in all, it was a wonderful experience that I would definitely recommend. We sailed on the Galileo.”

“Panorama II Greek Isles Aegean Odyssey May 16-23, 2014 Really cannot say enough positive things to say how well everyone treated us on the boat. The room was always clean and we were never interfered with in the process. The food was ABSOLUTELY delicious and presented beautifully. The servers were courteous and ever at the ready-quickly learning our likes. George was always checking with us to be certain all our needs were being met. The captain was also available to us and willing to answer questions. The "ship mates" were also courteous and helpful when embarked and debarked the ship. Nina the cruise Coordinator was the " ICING ON THE CAKE"!!!!!! Very efficient, delightful, fun, thoughtful, a real problem solver when one of our fellow passengers had a bit of a problem--Nina took care of it like a dream, Her bright smile and eagerness to help was unending! We look forward to another cruise with Variety and maybe with Nina to another area Variety cruises!”

“Southern Aegean August-September 2013. Excellent crew, from Captain, Hotel Manager, Tour manager (Marita) and all other service staff. Perfect Cabin (Upper Deck on Panorama II). Mix of bathing, meals (Either lunch on the ship or dinner in cosy harbors) and tours were very convenient. The easy-going atmosphere among the guests from different countries was also very nice. we are now looking forward to travel in northern Aegean with start from Athens 22 August. “Cruising the Seychelles on board Pegasos is an absolutely wonderfull experience. I have made the tour 3 times, and I'm not sure I'm done yet. The amacing nature of the islands, the birds, the snorkeling, the very good food, cosy ship, the friendly atmospere and most of all the extraordinary kind and competent staff. They really are unique, making you feel welcome, taking care of you and doing anything to fulfill your wishes.”

“The "Voyager " cruise from Salerno to Sicily and Malta and back during September 2012 was Just wonderful. The Captain, Andreas, and his crew could not have been more helpful and happy. The ship, VOYAGER, is just fabulous with all the comfort and facilities one could ever want on a cruise ship. My wife and I had a lovely cruise. Thank You VARIETY. Geoff Shapowloff”

“We have been aboard Panorama II twice, once sailing in the Dodekanes in September 2013 and in April 2014 circumnavigating the Peloponnes. In both instances we enjoyed our cruises very much - the size of the ship was perfect, to make you feel like being on a private cruise, the crew was extremely competent and friendly, trying to anticipate our all our wishes and almost always succeeding! Except for the the fact, that we still want to travel to other parts of the world as well, we would sail again and again on Panorama II”

“The cruise was a very good experience for all of us. All the crew members were very nice and professional. The food also was very good and very well cooked. My only complaint is referring to the previous information that we do NOT received in relation to the daily schedulling (places where we are going to disembark every day; at what time we will do ashore and when we will get on board) I was asking for this information to Isidoros a lot of times, but without any success. This information was very important for us, because, we wanted to do the excursions by ourselves. This was because we were four Spanish people where I was the only one who spoke English. We understand that all the excursions were done on English because almost everybody were English speaking (Americans, Canadians, Britons) but we cannot understand why you were not giving us this information. Finally and despite to this we were able to prepare in advance all the excursions except one of them, but no thanks to your help. This was the only negative experience we had on this cruise. In the future, please, you have to be more understanding with this type of requests. Probably you will earn a little bit less money for excursions, but you will win the hapiness of your customers. Best regards Isidoro Gil PS. That is the reason why we qualify this trip only good and not as very good.”

“I had a tour of islands in the Aegean. This was my first time on any "cruise" boat bigger than a private yacht, and it was lovely. We got to know everyone, we could swim off the boat in uninhabited bays on various islands, we visited several beautiful, tranquil and fascinating islands that we would never have seen otherwise.”

“I have been on a large cruise ship but disliked it intensely therefore I was very concerned about this choice to see the Greek Islands. We had an amazingly wonderful time. This small cruise was perfect. Staff were fantastic, food good, itinerary great, comfort level very high in all aspects. Worth our 25 hour plane ride from Australia...............”

“Aegean Odyssey Panaroma II - This was out first ever cruise and even though we had never cruised before we knew we were not the type to go on one of those large cruise ships that held thousand's of people. This was our primary reason for choosing Variety. Once on the cruise we found the ship, accommodations, crew, food, friendly & fun atmosphere and camaraderie amongst other guests, ability to visit out of the way places, in fact everything about the cruise totally exceeded our expectations. There is nothing that I can even think of that I would consider as a negative or as being less than perfect……the Aegean was a bit cooler for swimming than we expected - that was it.”

“Dakar, Gambia, March 2014, Harmony V Very good, informative and well organized trip into a territory (geographic and cultural) which is hardly accessible otherwise. A demonstration of the massive crime of colonialism, and of the destruction of identities in the millions by Europeans, mostly the British.”
