my pony is a bit of a hooligan and manages to bite holes in his Trickle Net. The repair kit is excellent, it's a very inexpensive way to restore the net. It consists of several patches and the twine to sew in position. The nets are brilliant and it's great to be able to keep them impregnable

Recently bought a small softie net and two carabiner clips. The net is lovely, very soft for the pony's mouth and slows down his eating. The clips are sturdy and safe to use with the screw type closure in place if spring clip. Ordering was easy, good value for good products and delivery was timely.

Substantial net-small holes. Pleased with purchase!

Strong net and very robust but difficult to use as you cannot pull the drawstring tight. Also. It's difficult to fill the net to capacity again due to issues with drawstring

Hi Christine, there's an explanation on the packaging which shows you how to thread the rope across and through the opposite side to close the net. When your Trickle Net has been used for a while and softened (broken in), it will close at the top much more easily and fill more easily too. These products need some use to operate really well.

Great product wish you could buy these in smaller size for a Shetland pony

Thanks for your review! Our Mini nets are designed for ponies of 14hh and smaller, and lots of customers use them for Shetlands and Miniatures. (Also pygmy goats!)

I've wanted to buy a trickle net for a long time but the thing stopping me was the price. They're more expensive than a normal net and I didn't see how they could be that much different to warrant the increase in cost. I'm glad I decided to treat myself and buy one, they're much harder wearing than a conventional net, very robust and well made. I've been getting through several haynets in winter before they are riddled with holes and ruined, whereas I'll have this net for a very long time. Also, my particularly greedy steed cannot speed eat his way through this haynet in half an hour flat, it takes him a good while to munch through it, which is much better for his overall health and keeps him occupied for longer. I'll definitely be investing in another one!

I have individually ordered 2 trickle net’s recently ,both I paid for tracked 48 hrs,the first arrived in good time the second I ordered on Sunday & didn’t get until Friday which I was disappointed at as I paid nearly £6 for delivery. Communication via messenger was 4 days until they replied,it could of been quicker. The nets themselves seem very strong,I ordered an original & a small one. They are quite tight upon delivery but our mare has slowly got used to using them, only one day when she couldn’t get the hay out. I don’t think the rope on it will stay together too long as it has started fraying already. I think they are very over priced but would recommend them if using for a slow feed net as it definitely takes our mare longer to eat from it.

Hi there, we are sorry to hear your delivery was delayed. I can assure you we despatch in stock items very quickly, but the delivery services are out of our control. You may have heard the Royal Mail strikes have caused problems, and considerable back logs. I suspect your order was snagged in the strikes, which is outside of our control. Regarding messages, it is rare that we take this long to respond and I can only presume this was during a very busy spell. We advise customers to email queries in to us, rather than message on social media. This is not a reliable method and we have found that bugs and glitches can delay and hide messages. Whereas emails go to the whole team and can be addressed promptly. If your rope fails within 3 months, please let us know and we will send a replacement.

Does exactly what it says! Totally impressed with the quality( I purchased 2 softee nets) They will really last and the tie cord is brilliant, easy to undo in case of emergency, unlike cheaper nets on the market.

I just love these trickle nets. I have 4 in total and all horses doing really well on them. They will possibly last forever as very very durable and stops them eating too quickly Thank you so much

These are really strong nets. The small holes slow any greedy feeder down. My cob hasn’t managed to finish his net overnight- yet!

I have a cob and he is very greedy so the hay I left for him overnight didn't last as it should have done as he continually eats until it has gone. I bought 2 Trickle Nets as I thought this may slow him down and yes it does. He cannot get huge mouthfuls at a time and the hay inside lasts so much longer than it used to.

Although it’s not clever in all your advertising that it can take a few weeks for the horse to get use to it it’s now been a few weeks and my horse has finally got it

I have 4 trickle nets now. I have 2 very greedy good doers who would finish a regular haynet in a flash. Both my horses took to the new tricklenets easily and it slows them down so much. I use 2 in the paddock over winter, attached to the field shelter, which reduces waste. They have been used for over a year now and have withstood the weather. They are well made and extremely sturdy. They do take a while to 'soften' but after that they're very easy to use I would absolutely recommend them to anyone.

Knotless haynets are great. Regular black knotted haynets are sometimes too difficult for the horses to get our hay out of, but good quality materials still.

I have been using trickle nets for a few years now and they do exactly what they're supposed to, all four horses still have hay in the nets in the mornings so these are great for greedy horses that clear nets in a few hours I use less hay, the horses are happy as they constantly have hay and it's not wasted. One of the horses can destroy standard-quality nets in weeks and trickle nets last at least 12 months. My other horses have had their original nets for years .

It's a strong net, that I use it for my horse through the night, alongside his normal net. He's had one before, so he's developed the skills for using it.

A great Haynet. Please read the Q&A on the website! I didn't and was a bit stuck at first. My greedy Irish Draught couldn't eat through the holes of the new net and stood at the back of the stable sulking. I soaked the hay net overnight which made the holes softer and tied the net up length ways at each end with two tying points this made it easier for the net to stay still. I also fed 50% loose and 50% in the trickle net just so she could choose what to eat first. My mare loves it now and it does slow her eating down. This is not like a normal haynet and it can take a couple of weeks for your horse to get used to it.
