“I did the AgilePM Foundation and Practitioner courses, both online. I found the lectures hard to follow / the content dry - consisted of slides of information, some basic animations, and voiceover. The Practitioner lectures were particularly bad as it was just someone reading a page of information. I ended up stopping the Practitioner lectures halfway, and reading the Agile Handbook, for the exam. The online lectures were not helpful at all to me. I’ve previously done online courses where the online content was a recording of a tutor, so it was really engaging and felt like you were in the classroom. Next time, I would make sure the online course has this sort of teaching style. I found the company, Training ByteSize, quite professional, so this was positive. They were however slow to respond and needed prompting, and tutors were not helpful/ didn’t respond to questions I needed help with before the exam so I asked for a refund for this service.”

We take your comments on the Agile training material onboard. It can be difficult to cater for different self-paced learning styles, as many candidates that train with us prefer the animations/voiceover style compared to the recording of the tutor that you have mentioned- so we have tried to find a middle ground with the animated video combined with exam simulations. We understand that some individuals do prefer other styles, so we try to encourage candidates to look at the course demo's before going ahead, which can be found on the product page. “Due to my personal circumstances I requested pre-course study materials about 6 months in advance, but it was only sent about 3 weeks before my actual course start date. I needed extra time due to my circumstances. Therefore I could not dedicate enough time to ensure I was ready for the exam and as a result failed the exam and lost over £2000. Furthermore course date was changed without even notifying me. I only got to find out when I called to request pre-course material to be sent out to me. However Callum Downing the teacher was absolutely great! Very disappointing.”

We are sorry that you felt our service let you down, as a family business we always strive to be the best, but with challenging circumstances over the last 18 months, we clearly missed your early pre-course request. The course date change rarely happens, but again we were getting much higher levels of students changing and rescheduling than we have normally, and we work to ensure minimum impact, including communication to everyone involved. I wish you had contacted us directly with your comments, we would have taken steps to put this right with you, and looked at a free re-sit, further complimentary training or anything else we could have helped with.
