“Really great service! Cocktails were fantastic and Sarah was a really great mixologist, all our guests had a top night and enjoyed the wonderful drinks she made for us. Would have been 5 stars if based on Sarah and her cocktails alone, but there were a couple of set up issues regarding the drop off and building of the bar we’d paid for as an additional extra so reflected in the score”

Hi Peter, Thanks for the great review. The bartenders normally bring the bar with them but in this instance, we had another bartender drop off the bar to you as Sarah's bar hadn't been delivered on time to her by the courier but despite the little hiccup everything was still in place on time and the booking proceeded as planned. We have some great bartenders and Sarah is really fantastic at what she does, we've passed on your thanks to her and we are really happy you had such a great time. Thanks Russell

“Bartender (Frazer) arrived promptly, set up in good time, was fun but respectful and really made for a good atmosphere. I have no complaints about Frazer at all! However, there was a mix up involving numbers, which was dealt with quickly but there was a miscommunication. Also, Frazer said I had chosen the cocktails but it was never communicated to me that I was allowed to and this is something I would have been interested in doing. Overall, we really enjoyed it and I would book them again.”

You can view our menu here: https://www.tipsyparties.co.uk/cocktail-choices/ I can't see anything regarding a miscommunication about guest numbers, I looked into this for you and as far as I can see we accommodated 13 guests which is the same number you booked for and I couldn't see that you requested any change to your original booking. “Our experience with Tipsy Parties was good. The cocktail lesson was fun. entertaining and the host was very professional. The lesson was entertaining and had the group engaged throughout the night. However the naked butler was disappointing. We had warned him in advance that the bride was pregnant and we were after a tasteful night with few games. On arrival the butler was very friendly, how ever despised the warning of the bride being pregnant, he scooped her up off her feet without warning. Then continued to offer alcohol drinks to her and had to be reminded few times. The butler’s behaviour was slightly inappropriate with the ages of the group and made a few people feel uncomfortable. The games were fun and we had a laugh, however it was all over the place and required the help of the bridesmaids to get the crowd together for each game.”

“Organisation and communication were spot on and on the night Mark the barman was a very good host. We enjoyed the games, he was funny and interactive. I have just deducted one star because the cocktails themselves, although tasty were a little boring and run of the mill. Perhaps at least one cocktail that was a little different might have been nice, or a list to choose from before the event. However, I would definitely recommend Tipsy Parties.”

“Tipsy parties were fantastic for our hen do cocktail making! They came with everything we needed, set up and tidied away which was so stress free for us! The cocktails were amazing and our bar tender had some great games for us to play! We would highly recommend!”

“Had a great time with Tipsy parties last weekend. The only reason it isn't 5 stars was that the time was changed 3 days before the party due to staffing issues. We were given an upgraded cocktail after asking though, which made up for it. Alex ran late on the day due to petrol issues, but once he arrived the party started about 20 minutes passed its rearanged time. All the aside we had a great time, poor Alex had to contend we 14 screaming hens, which wasn't easy at times. The cocktails themselves were nice and everyone finished rather tipsy. We paid extra for a butler, which was funny, he played games in between cocktails, there was a lot of laughter. The only thing I would was that the butler kept eating the buffet that we had put out for our evening food. It didn't bother me at all, but given covid is on the rise a couple of the guests were put off by him cutting up the bread and meat and didn't want to eat it afterwards. All in all the guys did brilliantly, we had a great time and I would use them again if I ever organised a similar event. Thanks again.”

Hi Angela, Thanks for taking the time to give us your feedback. We are happy that you had a good time overall and we are so sorry about the time change but of course, we were happy to offer the additional cocktail as a gesture to make up for the inconvenience. Unfortunately, 3 of our bartenders from the Cornwall/Devon locations tested positive for covid after they attended an event, this left us very short in the area at short notice. To make sure we had a bartender for you we had to use a bartender from outside of the area, due to the additional travel and logistics this also involved altering the timing of your booking. We would always look to avoid changing a start time but wanted to ensure that we had someone for you so we arranged accommodation for your bartender to stay overnight that then allowed for the bartender to travel further than usual but we then required the start time change to allow for the bartender travel, this allowed us to cover your booking which was our priority as we wouldn't like to let a customer down. Due to a fuel shortage, Alex ran into some issues obtaining petrol on route as 2 petrol stations had no fuel resulting in a delay. Punctuality is important to us and additional time is built into the travel should there be traffic delays etc but occasionally when unpredictable things happen such as the fuel shortage it can impact even the best-laid plans. We are glad you enjoyed the butler we followed up with the butler company and they said their butler was invited to "help himself" to the buffet by one of the guests at the party. We are really happy you had a great time though and please accept my apologies for the few niggles mentioned, we always strive for 5 stars.

“We had a great experience with Tipsy Parties for a hen party at the weekend. Our bartender, Paul, arrived to our venue with plenty of time to set up. He brought everything that was needed for the class and he was very friendly and knowledgable about the cocktails. We loved making the cocktails and playing the games! It was great to enjoy this at our rented cottage for the weekend. Would definitely use the company again.”

“I would have gave this 5 stars , Howe we when I called up I got a woman who wasn’t too helpful which is a shame as the initial booking guy was great, the other guy I also got when I choose the cocktail menu was great and the actual bartender on the night was amazing. Everyone in the party loved the class! So a die oak Thankyou goes to him !”

“Our host Georgina was lovely and very knowledgeable about the gin we were tasting! Without being sexist (and with no offence to Georgina at all as she was great) we were a hen party and expecting a man (just for a bit of jokey, flirty banter for the bride to be) so I would suggest for hen parties taking this into consideration as we were slightly disappointed.”
