Sorry to hear about this! I'm afraid that we can't find an order with your details in our system though. I wonder if you might have actually ordered from a different company? We've sent an email to try and help resolve this!

First, you send out three sets of unusabele, rusted box legs and as a replacement, you ship one set of regular hairpin legs which sets back my project for weeks now. Thanks for nothing. I hope I don't have to get Visa and my lawyer involved now to get my money back :-( Shame on you!

Hi Michael, As explained by email, rust was an unfortunate issue that is very uncommon. We agreed to replace the items right away but a mistake was made on the resend by one of our new employees, who has now realised what happened and has learned from the mistake. I have apologised to you for this and already refunded as we have discussed. I understand this is very frustrating and you want to get your point across, but there really is no need to proceed to threats. We are a reputable company who cares about our customers and products and we accept the mistakes made. We would have also been more than happy to resend the correct items for you. You have ordered from us a few times in the past and I am sure you do know this too. Once again, we are really sorry for the issues and frustration caused here.

Ordered on a Sunday, delivery due Tuesday, received 8:50PM. Multiple phone messages saying that delivery would be by end of day Tuesday and then Wednesday. Contradictory responses from partner in the business. Claimed the messages received were advising of delay, despite not having seen them. Claimed all emails had been answered, then admitted they hadn't been. Sarcastic and unhelpful tone to emails and dodging telephone calls. Product is OK, overpriced but not an issue had delivery been as advertised. V slow delivery and poor response from business owner leads to an unhappy customer

Very bad service, Ordered some product, said It would arrive next week, one week later no news. After few days I sent message, any reply, just a message about about getting money back. It changed my plan about my furnitures. I dont recommand

Hello, I am very sorry about this. There appeared to be an error with your address so the items were returned back to us. We should not have auto-refunded you though and should have provided the option to resend the items. I am looking into why this happened! Sorry to hear that you have changed your mind on this now, but if you do want to go ahead again please do let us know and we can surely add some discount as an apology.

I don't like to leave negative reviews but I have been contacted twice now to leave a review but haven't received my full order yet - just the legs! I assume the issue is with the courier and have been told a further top will be dispatched but no date yet. I just have to keep chasing for updates and am a bit disappointed with the customer service so far. Hopefully when it arrives it will be nice ...

Hello, I am sorry about this. Our system thinks your delivery was made and it just sent an automated email (you should have only got one though so sorry about that!). We have not found the top that went missing first time around and the next one is loaded into our system. We are just waiting for new packaging to turn up so will be able to dispatch by around Tuesday or Wednesday next week. Hopefully, once you get to the top you will be happy enough and kind enough to revise this review. :-)

After waiting for more than three weeks for the delivery, I have had enough. Support pointed to issues regarding Brexit and Covid, but then failed to reply to emails. Terribly experience, I hope the money will be refunded as I requested.

Hello, I am sorry to hear you have not had any replies. I actually cannot see any emails from you since the 12th, which we replied to straight away. Your item was resent on the 12th and the last tracking update was yesterday to say it is now in Germany (http://track.thehairpinlegcompany.co.uk/15976866005065). The items should be with you tomorrow I would hope. If you need to contact us again, it may be best via our website live chat as your last email appears to have not been recevied.

I called twice to change my order since I made a mistake for the color of the legs I purchased and nobody ever got back to me, now I have grey legs that I spray painted in black....

Package was never delivered and the customer service support is very poor. I think I will go back to purchasing my products from amazon directly as many other vendors offer the same product with a better customer support.

I received my legs and they were chipped and damaged. The customer service did send another pair, but they were not wrapped any better and are also damaged and chipped. I have metal splinters all over my floor from these, I wouldn’t feel safe having them around my pets. I wanted to like the legs so much but I definitely would not recommend after this experience.

hello, This is certainly not how we expect the legs to turn up. It looks like there must have been a mistake at the warehouse as this is not actually even the boxes that we use to send our items out. We have refunded your order now in full

Used you previously and all was great but so far we haven't received goods as they were sent to our old address. I did follow up the order instantly with an email which I never received a reply.

The product is great - only one star as I can’t understand why they only sell in4’s when some of the marketing shots show pairs being used?

Hi Andy, We have hundreds of different sizes, styles and colours for each type of leg. All of these get made in sets of 4 on the same jig to ensure they are all exactly the same, millimetre perfect. They then get coated and packed into sets of 4. To sell just 2 legs we would have to break a pack down and then hope someone else wants to buy the other 2 another time. It's simply an extra complication that we just cannot have for a small business, already offering so many choices. It is a shame this has prompted a 1-star review for what you believe to be a good product. We did not falsely sell you a set of 4 legs and these kinds of reviews really harm small businesses.

I would not buy from this company. Delivery was very fast, but they mistakenly sent me the wrong table top. I contacted them and was immediately reassured that they would send someone to exchange the tops as soon as possible. What followed was me chasing down the customer representative (Lucy) after she repeatedly lied about when the correct item would be delivered. Eventually I was told they were out of stock: Hairpin refused to apologise or acknowledge their mishandling of the situation and instead blamed the issue on the courier. I had to ask for a credit in order to keep the incorrect table top. the table quality is just okay.

Hello, I am sorry to see you have written this after I thought we had resolved the conversation. You were sent the wrong top by accident and we did not have the correct one in stock to replace it quickly... so we ended up giving you a partial refund. I am sorry this was not adequate enough to resolve the situation. You were also offered a full refund/return which we would have gladly arranged. Lucy did not lie in this situation, she just did not have the full details at the time and I can only apologies for this.

Hi I have placed a small order 2 weeks ago and haven't received it yet. Every time I email to ask about the status of the order (3x so far) I am told it will be dispatched 'TODAY'! I am addressed as Jack (who is jack, not me!). I am glad I have started with a small order before ordering the much more expensive legs for table and bench. I will order those now from another company - disappointed.
