Used the Project to order a gift but found it annoying that I received messages about delivery rather than the gift's recipient. As the gft was being delivered by post didn't see the need for the messages. Also one cannot request delivery on or around a specific date.

Although the basket was beautiful and delicious delivery was 3 days late for the birthday it was intended for which was very disappointing.

I would give customer service a 5 and the cake itself a 5 however it's worth mentioning that our cake was due for delivery on 21/02 ( needed it for the 24/02) and we received a notification that the cake had been dispatched. By 23/03 we still did not have the cake, so I had to chase this via email. The customer service team were very efficient and informed me that "there was a problem with DPD and the bakers can make the cake on special order and deliver it tomorrow". This was an excellent solution, however had I not chased I wonder if we would have ever been informed? My husband had to stay in the house to receive the cake and get a taxi to the party, so a little bit inconvenient. However, the cake was delicious, I love vegan cake and it was enjoyed by everyone. My son loved the design :)

Some of the snacks in the box were vegan alright, but as far as quality goes, it feels like The Goodness Project simply bulk purchased mass produced vegan bars supermarkets didnt sell amd split them into individual boxes. Often some snacks were things you can buy anywhere (like propercorn). So opening it felt lacklustre. The box had some decent additions, but as far as value went we were underwhelmed. Id also consider less date bars with peanuts in. Its something done to death and Aldi has them in bulk buys mega cheap

The service was good, if you can bear being unable to contact customer services by telephone. It is both time consuming & inconvenient to be compelled to send emails when you have an issue with their website, which is not user friendly. Whilst I have no issue with the quality of the products, they certainly do not represent good value for money. The food boxes are exceptionally expensive for what they are, & really quite disappointing.

Dear Angela, Thank you very much for your review. I am sorry to hear that you have experienced some difficulties redeeming your e-gift card on our website. We try to explain the redemption process clearly in our gift card terms and conditions. Whilst we don’t operate a telephone service, I can see that my colleague Sarah has replied to your enquiries promptly and helpfully and even arranged a small favour for you. We are a small independent family-run business and do our best to keep our customers happy. We are very sorry that on this occasion we did not succeed. Best wishes, Sabina The Goodness Project
