About The British Blanket Company:

The British Blanket Company is a family-run business bringing colour, comfort and warmth to homes all over the UK and beyond. Founded by siblings Bethan and Joe, we’re passionate about creating beautiful blankets that feel as good as they look.

Our designs begin in our Bristol studio, where we pair joyful colour palettes with timeless patterns. Each blanket is then woven at traditional mills around the British Isles using natural, sustainable fibres like wool and recycled cotton.

What makes us special is our focus on quality, craftsmanship and sustainability. We work closely with our makers and choose materials that are kind to both people and the planet.

Our customers love us for our uplifting colours, thoughtful touches and the cosy feeling that comes with every blanket. Whether you’re treating yourself or sending a gift, we’re here to help you find a little extra joy, every day.

Thank you for your review. Our photos are professionally colour-matched to the blankets so all the images on our website are as accurate as possible. Unfortunately though, we're unable to control the screen settings of the viewer which can vary quite significantly on different devices. This is why sometimes colours can appear differently to the originals. I'm sorry this led to disappointment and we are happy to accept a return if the blanket isn't suitable.

“I bought a throw for my new livingroom sofa and was so impressed by the quality of it, that I went back and bought a second! I love these throws and will definitely buy more in the future! Good size and the patterns are lovely. Delivery was free to me in Scotland and very prompt, I think both were with me in 2 days! Very impressed, would highly recommend and will use again!”

“Excellent service all round. The blanket is everything I hoped it would be....a lovely present for my daughter's 40th birthday, and I especially love the paper bag it came in...with the slogan 'Love is a warm blanket'....in fact I am giving it to her in the bag! Thankyou.”

“Speedy delivery. The blanket is very warm, it feels thick and cosy. It can feel rough on the bare skin, it is not soft; but if you are looking for something to warm you up instantly on the sofa, then it’s the right choice! The yellow colour is lovely too.”
