About The British Blanket Company:

The British Blanket Company is a family-run business bringing colour, comfort and warmth to homes all over the UK and beyond. Founded by siblings Bethan and Joe, we’re passionate about creating beautiful blankets that feel as good as they look.

Our designs begin in our Bristol studio, where we pair joyful colour palettes with timeless patterns. Each blanket is then woven at traditional mills around the British Isles using natural, sustainable fibres like wool and recycled cotton.

What makes us special is our focus on quality, craftsmanship and sustainability. We work closely with our makers and choose materials that are kind to both people and the planet.

Our customers love us for our uplifting colours, thoughtful touches and the cosy feeling that comes with every blanket. Whether you’re treating yourself or sending a gift, we’re here to help you find a little extra joy, every day.

“The company are pleasant to deal with but I was very disappointed in the Merino throws I ordered and returned them for a refund. They are described as "supersoft", but I did not feel they were soft.”

I'm so sorry to hear the feel of the throw wasn't as you hoped. Softness is certainly subjective and we receive lots of great feedback from many customers on the soft feel of our merino lambswool collection. “Prompt delivery, ecco friendly packaging, true colour and lovely and soft with a good drape on a king size bed. However, not a true blanket for a king size bed in that it only covers half the bed - perhaps I should have checked the measurements but when it said it was big enough for a king size bed I assumed that was for the whole bed not just the drape on either side.”
