About The British Blanket Company:

The British Blanket Company is a family-run business bringing colour, comfort and warmth to homes all over the UK and beyond. Founded by siblings Bethan and Joe, we’re passionate about creating beautiful blankets that feel as good as they look.

Our designs begin in our Bristol studio, where we pair joyful colour palettes with timeless patterns. Each blanket is then woven at traditional mills around the British Isles using natural, sustainable fibres like wool and recycled cotton.

What makes us special is our focus on quality, craftsmanship and sustainability. We work closely with our makers and choose materials that are kind to both people and the planet.

Our customers love us for our uplifting colours, thoughtful touches and the cosy feeling that comes with every blanket. Whether you’re treating yourself or sending a gift, we’re here to help you find a little extra joy, every day.

“This is the second Merino throw I’ve purchased from The Great British Blanket Company and I have to say they are both beautiful, such lovely colours, excellent quality, and have been greatly admired by many, I would definitely recommend their products”

“I have purchased a sofa throw as a birthday present for someone else. The quality is excellent - it looks just as it does on the website and the fabric is soft and bouncy. Customer service was brilliant and the parcel arrived promptly in a recyclable brown paper envelope. I would not hesitate to recommend this retailer and am so pleased to be able to support the British wool industry.”
