About The British Blanket Company:

The British Blanket Company is a family-run business bringing colour, comfort and warmth to homes all over the UK and beyond. Founded by siblings Bethan and Joe, we’re passionate about creating beautiful blankets that feel as good as they look.

Our designs begin in our Bristol studio, where we pair joyful colour palettes with timeless patterns. Each blanket is then woven at traditional mills around the British Isles using natural, sustainable fibres like wool and recycled cotton.

What makes us special is our focus on quality, craftsmanship and sustainability. We work closely with our makers and choose materials that are kind to both people and the planet.

Our customers love us for our uplifting colours, thoughtful touches and the cosy feeling that comes with every blanket. Whether you’re treating yourself or sending a gift, we’re here to help you find a little extra joy, every day.

“From The British Blanket Co I got two items and were very happy about the quality and service. One of the items was a present to my mom and I liked that the note was hand written in Lithuanian by somone in their company.”

“As you will see from the photos included in this review, the colours of the two throws I ordered are not a good match to the images from your website. However, as they are not a complete clash with my colour scheme I couldn't be bothered to send them back, but I won't be ordering any more.”

“Like many we have become covid vanlifers. Some times you need an extra layer at night or to wrap around you. I didn’t want to buy a fleece blanket but a piece of art almost. I stumbled across this company in a country living magazine & was immediately drawn the the herringbone and colour combo. I bought the blanket. On arrival the quality exceeded my expectations. This is an authentic, thick, high quality blanket. The sort I imagine will stay in my family for generations. The craftsmanship and the design are of a superior quality that I have not seen since my granny’s linen cupboards for decades. I unreservedly recommend this company, their fine workmanship speaks for itself and now I own a beautiful blanket in our van. I will save up to buy more of then for our beds too in our guests rooms. I wouldn’t recommend you waste time shopping elsewhere these creators are top class. Thank you for my beautiful blanket. Kate & Ally”

“Bought as a birthday gift for my elderly mother. She is delighted with her blanket. Beautifully soft and the colours are gorgeous, which are very true to the online pictures. “I would only recommend purchasing from British Blankets if you are confident you will not need to return an item. Should I have looked at the 1 star reviews pre purchasing I would have been aware of your poor reputation for your refund process. I received confirmation of a refund 9 days ago and have not received - I have contacted you via your support email address and have not received a reply as to where the refund is - I am now having to complete a bank fraud transaction form -”

I'm sorry to read this. We always take negative feedback very seriously and review the circumstances in detail to see if we can improve. We're always happy to accept returns and process refunds twice a week. I can see that we refunded you promptly, and replied to all your emails in a timely manner with proof that the refund had been successfully completed.
