About The British Blanket Company:

The British Blanket Company is a family-run business bringing colour, comfort and warmth to homes all over the UK and beyond. Founded by siblings Bethan and Joe, we’re passionate about creating beautiful blankets that feel as good as they look.

Our designs begin in our Bristol studio, where we pair joyful colour palettes with timeless patterns. Each blanket is then woven at traditional mills around the British Isles using natural, sustainable fibres like wool and recycled cotton.

What makes us special is our focus on quality, craftsmanship and sustainability. We work closely with our makers and choose materials that are kind to both people and the planet.

Our customers love us for our uplifting colours, thoughtful touches and the cosy feeling that comes with every blanket. Whether you’re treating yourself or sending a gift, we’re here to help you find a little extra joy, every day.

“Bought the Rainbow striped picnic blanket for my daughter’s 22nd birthday. She’s absolutely delighted with it. The colours are lovely and it’s beautifully made. The leather carry case is perfect. I know it’ll get lots of use whilst outdoor socialising with her friends.”

“Searched and searched for quality blankets until I found your site. So glad I found you. There is a lot of rubbish around. I love the ones I bought but I do think you need to develop bigger sizes. 6 ft wide beds are not unusual and people like to tuck the blanket in.”

“This is the most beautiful blanket and is such great quality! I ordered the large and it’s a perfect size for the end of my bed. It arrived shockingly fast to Canada with no additional duties or taxes. I have to admit, I’m already thinking about ordering another one!”
