About The British Blanket Company:

The British Blanket Company is a family-run business bringing colour, comfort and warmth to homes all over the UK and beyond. Founded by siblings Bethan and Joe, we’re passionate about creating beautiful blankets that feel as good as they look.

Our designs begin in our Bristol studio, where we pair joyful colour palettes with timeless patterns. Each blanket is then woven at traditional mills around the British Isles using natural, sustainable fibres like wool and recycled cotton.

What makes us special is our focus on quality, craftsmanship and sustainability. We work closely with our makers and choose materials that are kind to both people and the planet.

Our customers love us for our uplifting colours, thoughtful touches and the cosy feeling that comes with every blanket. Whether you’re treating yourself or sending a gift, we’re here to help you find a little extra joy, every day.

“I contacted The British Blanket Company by email to enquire about the availablity of the large cedar green and mustard throw and I had a very prompt reply back informing me it would be back in stock within a couple of weeks. As soon as it became available I was contacted again. Delivery was exceptionally quick and the packaging was environmentally friendly.”

“I recently redecorated my bedroom & wanted a nice throw to go with my new curtains & bedding. I searched the internet & found The British Blanklet Company and their beautiful goodies. Wanting to support a British company I ordered a lovely Olive throw although there are so many stunning things to choose from it wasn’t an easy choice. When it arrived I wasn’t disappointed it is very well made and looks stunning in my room. Give them a try & not only will you be buying a quality item, you will be supporting a small British company! 🇬🇧”

“So pleased with my purchase of 3 small rugs to replace mohair ones that had disintegrated with age! The olive green really is like the green and silver of olive leaves and blends beautifully with my other green items. The cedar green and mustard is a great hit with my husband; masculine and coordinating perfectly with his study colours. They are all soft and snuggly so when it gets colder again they will be very useful.”
