About The British Blanket Company:

The British Blanket Company is a family-run business bringing colour, comfort and warmth to homes all over the UK and beyond. Founded by siblings Bethan and Joe, we’re passionate about creating beautiful blankets that feel as good as they look.

Our designs begin in our Bristol studio, where we pair joyful colour palettes with timeless patterns. Each blanket is then woven at traditional mills around the British Isles using natural, sustainable fibres like wool and recycled cotton.

What makes us special is our focus on quality, craftsmanship and sustainability. We work closely with our makers and choose materials that are kind to both people and the planet.

Our customers love us for our uplifting colours, thoughtful touches and the cosy feeling that comes with every blanket. Whether you’re treating yourself or sending a gift, we’re here to help you find a little extra joy, every day.

“I am tremendously happy with The British Blanket Company. I love theoir products. They are of a very high quality, their woollen blankets are wonderfully soft and the colours are very subtle. “Getting bored of purchasing items that only seemed to have an active life of a couple of months before they tore or the quality (or lack thereof) showed through, we wanted to find items to invest in that could be used and passed on (and not to the textile bin at the recycling centre). This was when we stumbled on The British Blanket Company. All the items appeared appealing with prices that did not bring a tear to the eye so we made our tentative first purchase. Well, we were not disappointed. The transaction went through very quickly with confirmation and dispatch e-mails arriving quickly and soon followed by the item, a throw, itself. The throw was an instant hit with the family, especially over winter with many an argument over whom was to be nestled within it's warm embrace. It is very well made and that combined with the service from The British Blanket Company means we shall be purchasing more in the near future.”
