About The British Blanket Company:

The British Blanket Company is a family-run business bringing colour, comfort and warmth to homes all over the UK and beyond. Founded by siblings Bethan and Joe, we’re passionate about creating beautiful blankets that feel as good as they look.

Our designs begin in our Bristol studio, where we pair joyful colour palettes with timeless patterns. Each blanket is then woven at traditional mills around the British Isles using natural, sustainable fibres like wool and recycled cotton.

What makes us special is our focus on quality, craftsmanship and sustainability. We work closely with our makers and choose materials that are kind to both people and the planet.

Our customers love us for our uplifting colours, thoughtful touches and the cosy feeling that comes with every blanket. Whether you’re treating yourself or sending a gift, we’re here to help you find a little extra joy, every day.

“All excellent. I was given a gorgeous blanket for Christmas but green was not the colour for the room, so I did a return and now have a fabulous rainbow coloured soft, Merino, luxurious deliciously lovely blanket. The whole exchange was done swiftly and easily, the blanket is beautiful and I love it. All eco friendly - packaging and blanket. Perfect, fab”

“I bought a sofa throw for my daughter as a Christmas present. She absolutely loves it. I was so delighted with it that I bought a bed throw for myself. The range is fabulous, the quality excellent and the order & package delivery service is easy and quick. This lovely company is highly recommended. I’m sure I’ll buy more.”

“We're very keen on throws and blankets, used daily and mostly when watching tv. We've quite a collection, acquired over the past 25 years or so, and until last week our favourite was made by K.....n, a well known Latvian company. NOT ANY MORE ! The BBC has achieved what I honestly didn't think was possible; our new throw is large, beautiful and extraordinarily cosy and has gone straight to the top of the list. Please don't hesitate - these are the real deal and you will be delighted !!”

“Absolutely gorgeous! I ordered two blankets and they are both fabulous so keeping both . They are excellent quality and British made might be a bit more expensive but you get what you pay for Lovely colours and designs,Quick delivery too what more can you ask for !”

“Oh what a GEM! I have wanted a “proper” blanket for a while but have been put off by seeing others of poor quality and finish.. having been quite poorly for a few days I took the plunge and ordered a comfy beautiful blanket from The British Blanket Company. OH my! It’s sublime.. Cody, warm, beautiful and just what the doctor ordered. I am over the moon.. from ease of ordering to being informed of despatch and delivery.. to the beautiful packaging. Top end from start to finish without the top end price! I wish I could justify ordering more!!!!!”

“My blanket arrived very promptly after the order and nicely packaged. The throw is absolutely all that I hoped for. Beautifully soft and made and exactly the right colour - I was concerned that the yellow/mustard would be too yellow for my scheme but it's just right and as it appeared on screen. Gorgeous quality and has made a lovely and very apt addition to our shepherd hut for guests to snuggle under, once we let out in Spring. Thanks British Blanket Company!”
