About The British Blanket Company:

The British Blanket Company is a family-run business bringing colour, comfort and warmth to homes all over the UK and beyond. Founded by siblings Bethan and Joe, we’re passionate about creating beautiful blankets that feel as good as they look.

Our designs begin in our Bristol studio, where we pair joyful colour palettes with timeless patterns. Each blanket is then woven at traditional mills around the British Isles using natural, sustainable fibres like wool and recycled cotton.

What makes us special is our focus on quality, craftsmanship and sustainability. We work closely with our makers and choose materials that are kind to both people and the planet.

Our customers love us for our uplifting colours, thoughtful touches and the cosy feeling that comes with every blanket. Whether you’re treating yourself or sending a gift, we’re here to help you find a little extra joy, every day.

“Have bought two of the full size blankets, one in turquoise and another in buttercup yellow, for my armchairs both feel of high quality wool and lovely and thick, love the strong colours and the pretty tassels. Will buy again.”

“Purchased a small throw in green for my elderly Mam, she loves it on her sofa. I then purchased the same for ourselves in yellow, lovely quality, good price & cosy. They both look really good. Well done and good luck in your relatively new business.”

“Efficient, nice rug/blanket. Would have liked a bit more choice and perhaps some brighter colours. Not the cheapest blanket but it's on our bed, looks very nice and seems very good quality.”

“Excellent service, with swift delivery and beautiful packaging. My only recommendation is that you consider bigger sizes. I would love to get myself a blanket big enough to cover my king size bed, not just a throw size to lie across the end.”

“The blanket I ordered (Herringbone XL throw) has become a firm house favourite! It's incredibly cosy and sumptuously thick. My original order arrived with slight damage, but Bethan was incredibly helpful, getting it replaced during the pandemic chaos in the lead up to Christmas; she even gave a courtesy call. Top marks all around :)”
