About The British Blanket Company:

The British Blanket Company is a family-run business bringing colour, comfort and warmth to homes all over the UK and beyond. Founded by siblings Bethan and Joe, we’re passionate about creating beautiful blankets that feel as good as they look.

Our designs begin in our Bristol studio, where we pair joyful colour palettes with timeless patterns. Each blanket is then woven at traditional mills around the British Isles using natural, sustainable fibres like wool and recycled cotton.

What makes us special is our focus on quality, craftsmanship and sustainability. We work closely with our makers and choose materials that are kind to both people and the planet.

Our customers love us for our uplifting colours, thoughtful touches and the cosy feeling that comes with every blanket. Whether you’re treating yourself or sending a gift, we’re here to help you find a little extra joy, every day.

“I received this lovely blanket as a retirement gift from work colleagues. My beautiful 26 year old daughter fell in love with it also and could not stop having a cwtch with it wrapped snugly around her. As she was emigrating to New Zealand, it seemed only fitting to find and buy the same blanket to accompany her across the world (which we did). These blankets will always hold very special memories and form a special bond between us, diolch yn fawr ♥️”

“I love a good blanket and when I came across the British Blanket Co I know I was onto a winner I chose the candy stripped blanket, I love colour and this does not disappoint, I get a little frisson of pleasure when I see it! It's gorgeous and keeps me snuggly warm when I'm watching the telly.”
