“I have just spent the last 6 months studying the Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs). Having no prior teaching experience, coupled with the fact that this course has the same accreditation as the Trinity or Celta courses, I found it pretty hard. To be honest, I underestimated how much it was going to hurt my brain. However, I have now completed the course (and even managed to achieve a "Distinction" as my overall grade), so it was all worth it. I am now qualified to teach English as a Foreign language anywhere in the world! For anyone considering taking this Level 5 course, i would strongly recommend that you take it seriously from day 1. Go on the weekend classroom training if you can; it certainly helped me. Don't procrastinate, stick to a timetable and just do it. I work full time, so I know how easy it is to "put it off for another day". Yes, it was challenging (for me at least), but the course is thorough and will give you a strong foundation for a future career. It's also great value for money! All the best, Sally”

“I completed the Level 5 TEFL course (168 hours) in about 6 weeks. I completed it so quickly because it was interesting information and the activities were great. Once I started, I couldn't stop, just wanted to keep going. Materials were well-organized and clearly presented, I only requested help just once, the reply was quick and precise. I have been teaching for over 15 years, amazingly, I learned a lot from this course and was a great refresher. Now, I am more prepared and I wish I had taken this course sooner. It's a great course for both new and seasoned teachers. So glad I have taken it. Hats off to the TEFL Academy team for putting a great course together. Eric”

“It was very great and helpful course .It was standard and started from very primary and finalized with advanced principles of teaching. The suggested methods for teaching were really modern and fun. “The website is very easy to use. The course itself is very straight forward. Every time you complete a module, there is a big tick that tells you that you have finished that part, It's a good motivator. The 3 assignments are from real types of tasks you would have to do as a professional teacher. 3 lesson plans for 3 different types of lessons. From the course I gained clear understanding of how a teacher should also behave and what to do to make a lesson interesting. I am currently doing a PGCE course and the TEFL course helped me prepare for teaching without having to have stepped in a classroom. I would 100% recommend doing this course to anyone who wishes to teach anything. It's great value for money for the knowledge I have gained. Thank you TEFL Academy.”

“I am very satisfied with both the online course and the class practice delivered by the TEFL Academy. Even if it was online, the course turned out to be quite interactive, thanks to the tests, to check my progress, at the end of the module and some interesting articles that kept me motivated.”

“The course is well written and straight forward to follow, something that isn't always true of online courses. I would recommend this course to anyone, they have been very supportive of me (medically disabled) and have allowed me to be useful again and make steps towards some paid work in the future. All I can say to The TEFL Academy is 'thank you' and to you, if you're interested in doing this, this company will help you succeed.”

“I enjoyed the course and found it useful as it made me think about areas that I wouldnt have thought of without the course. The only issue I found was that some links were broken amd the waiting time for assignments to be graded was, for one piece of work, over five working days.”

“I have just finished Level 5 TEFL Course (168hrs). I have found the course very well structured and organised, user – friendly and informative. I was able to go through the whole course on my train ride to work, which was very convenient for me. The course was also pretty challenging, and I have learned a lot about teaching and how to present lessons to students in an interesting way, how to make my lessons modern and engaging, how to engage students and open them up to receiving the knowledge. I especially liked the assignments which have opened up my creative side and helped me to put all I have learned into practice, thus cementing my knowledge even further. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone considering to teach English as a Foreign Language.”

“The 168-hour TEFL course was well structured, engaging and interactive, and the whole experience of studying online has exceeded my expectations. The course was packed with information and allows you to learn at your own pace with written content, videos, quizzes, links to further reading, and three task-based assignments which help you develop and apply what you've learned. The feedback on my assignments was very detailed and helpful, and looking back I can see how I've progressed throughout the course. Now I feel confident, inspired and ready to teach thanks to the TEFL Academy.”

“Finally I am one of the proud graduates of the Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs)! Although I am an inexperienced teacher and a non-native speaker, I managed to absorb a lot of knowledge from the course, as it has an easy to follow structure and a lot of interactive activities. “I studied the Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs) and achieved Distinction. The course is excellent value for money and really helped to open my mind to teaching English! Feedback on assignments is really good and useful to learn about personal strengths and weaknesses. Materials are very comprehensive which makes the course very valuable. Being Ofqual regulated and equal in Level to the CELTA are also massive benefits Because the course is Internationally recognised and quality guaranteed. The in-class components is also really useful to learn more about the various activities and gain some practical teaching skills. I strongly recommend this course to everyone who wants to teach English abroad!”

“I have just completed the Level 5 TEFL Course (168) hours. The course is a mixture of online work, 3 assignments which need to be submitted and a 20 hours classroom module which was face to face. I really really enjoyed the 20 hour (2 day) practical part of the course - it was great to meet people from all walks of life who were studying the same course, even managed to leave with a new friend. I think this aspect of the course also helped build my confidence a little with regards to my ability as sometimes when you are working remotely online alone some of the content could become very intimidating. I found some of the work quite demanding but that was probably down to the fact that I was studying some aspects of the English language that I hadn't even heard of before. The small understanding tasks within the units were a useful way of revising. If I could add or change one thing, I would create an online forum for people studying the course. There were moments were the self doubt set in and it would have been nice to be able to get some reassurances that you were on the right track. However, I would definitely recommend this course to anyone considering getting a qualification of this kind.”
