“Totally recommend that experience to anyone who is passionate about English, about travelling and creating new opportunities for ahead! And I believe these words relate to many of us. Apart from the final results the way the whole course is organised is clear, interesting and always providing additional materials to explore. Also. I did appreciate that any assignment grading, technical support or just a question to ask, were answered on time within the period given (communication and feedback are the preconditions for quality :) ). The tasks I had to complete have put me in different real situations with different types of students, English levels and goals, letting me understand how important to be a good English teacher actually is. It is a job of great responsibility to undertake as the teacher itself has to motivate students to listen, study, understand and eventually like the language. By means of all units step by step I'd say I have built myself as a person able to outline goals and so, structure individual and/or group lesson in the TEFL style. For me, personally, to spread knowledge while travelling abroad was a out-of-the-way idea while now it is just a matter of time to pick up my luggage!”

“I studied the online Level 5 TEFL course and I found it to be a very comprehensive course with lots of content. It is well designed and presented in 10 easy to follow modules. While I am a native English speaker I hadn’t studied grammar before and it was interesting to learn the structures. The photo examples of teaching situations (with dialogue bubbles) were helpful in clarifying points clearly, and the practice questions during modules and tests at the end of each module helped to reinforce learning. I found the notes and extra references / web links provided were particularly useful to help with understanding various concepts. I would recommend making lots of notes throughout the course it’s especially helpful when it comes to working on the assignments. I also received helpful support and quick responses from the TEFL Academy Admin team any time I had any course related queries. This is an excellent thorough course and I feel it has provided me with a great basis from which to begin teaching English as a foreign language.”

“The course is organized into 10 units, with 3 major assignments. You can go at your own pace and many educational links are offered in the units. If you put in the time and effort by the completion of the course you feel ready in theory to teach a basic TEFL course. Tutors offer advice and corrections to assignments and respond quickly.”

“It was a very good experience for the amount of money that I paid. The website and course design was done very thoughtfully and there was a good combination of reading, tests/quizzes, and assignments. I also received prompt replies on any questions I had, as well as my assignments returned (graded) in a timely manner. I definitely recommend this course.”

“I signed up for this course to get qualified & certified as an English language tutor online and I'm so pleased that in 6 months time while under COVID circumstances I did it and got certified! I've benefited a lot by pursuing the TEFL course. As a self-paced course it was rigorous and challenging at times. The modules vary in size and duration hence my advice would be to plug into the course materials the day after it's purchase, literally! It takes knowing yourself well and discipline in keeping the time in check to be on track particularly when submitting written assignments. The course provides plenty of opportunities to self test your English language knowledge while building up on your teaching skills and has plenty useful videos and references that help you get an idea of how classes should be taught. There are great examples included and the coursework encourages you to think outside of the box, research the language and all there is on teaching it and produce your own body of work through the written assignments to make it a stimulating and effective learning experience. The feedback and grading on written assignments is worthy a separate mention as it was done in a SMART way: the reviewers were very aware of time and provided their reviews way before the deadline; page long, point by point- a very detailed feedback including suggestions & tips for improvements. I found this feedback from three different reviewers an unexpected added value to my overall course experience and success! I 100% recommend the Level 5 TEFL Academy course to anyone interested in becoming an English language tutor!”

“I chose the TEFL academy to do my online certificate on the advice of my stepdaughter. It was the best decision I ever made. I found the course incredibly challenging and stimulating. It was set at a very high standard. I feel confident that I am ready to embark on a successful TEFL career after completing my online Level 5 TEFL course. In the new year I will be completing their online course and I cannot wait. This was the best decision I ever made. I would like to add that I am incredibly impressed with the efficiency and helpfulness shown by all the staff at TEFL academy. These guys have international study taped. “It has been a great experience learning through The TEFL Academy (Level 5 TEFL Course). The registration process was simple and access to the course was immediate. The course is presented in a way that accommodates people with no prior teaching experience. Assessments provide practice for what can be expected in the real learning environment and the feedback received is very detailed. I received my soft copy version of my certificate very soon after my completion. Highly recommend this course.”

“I did a 168 hour level 5 TEFL Course wit The TEFL Academy, I must my experience was fantastic. The course was not difficult and easy to learn and user friendly. The feedback for the markers was 100% GREAT!!!! i would recommended the TTA to everyone. I can't wait to make money online and abroad as a certified TEFL teacher.”

“The TEFL online course has given me the confidence I needed to follow a new career path, after losing my job due to Covid-19. I thoroughly enjoyed the overall experience and felt grateful for the feedback received from the tutors on my assignments, which I felt gave me the chance to actively practice what I learned during the units. I finished my course in less then 3 months and now I'm working on my top-up course, feeling hopeful I will be able to teach sooner than expected!”
