“Thoroughly enjoyed TEFL level 5 (168 hours). The course work was methodical with a lot of practice exercises to drill in learning. The practical course in Southampton was extremely beneficial and great fun as-well.”

“The TEFL level 5 course is structured in a way which makes it simple to complete. With short modules and step by step instructions it was a simple process from start to finish. I feel I know have the skills to teach english anywhere in the world. Couldn't ask for a better course and I did look at other ones before deciding to do this one which I am very pleased that I did!”

“The website was clear and easy to use and i really enjoyed the 168 hour combined online course. I feel I now have a deeper understanding of the English language and feel I am now able to use my own skills in order to teach English as a second language.”

“I'd simply say this is the best way of learning how to teach English. I've studied English at university (France) but some things were missing. The TEFL is complete on the subject. What I loved the most is that they show you a lot of different ways to teach, different games you could to make the lesson funnier. By the end of the course you have all the tools you need to start teaching. The TEFL course was really intuitive to use and very interactive. I'm really satisfied and would recommend this course to anyone !”

“I have just completed the Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs). I had a great experience during my first online course. I found it really well structured, with detailed explanation of each module and each assignment. I didn't need to ask any questions during the whole course and completed it with a Distinction. It was a hard work and I completed the final assignment just before the deadline ( it took me around six months as I was mainly studying in the evenings). The teacher's feedback is great and very useful. I think the three assignments were equally hard to do and I got the lowest score 67% on the last one. You need to really think carefully about what is asked in the assignment instructions. However, once you complete your fist assignment (as I wasn't sure how much in detail I had to go) and get your feedback you can already get an idea of the way you need to do for the other two assignments. I had already taught English before I started the course (Private lessons at home) and this course gave me some extra confidence and taught me how to structure my lessons. As I give lessons to very young children (aged 3 +) I needed and wished to learn more about teaching very young learners (which is part of the last module) and would loved if there was an extra module (further developed) just on this topic. I also wished that there was more time allowed to use the platform after completing the course as there is a lot of useful information and many useful links. Overall it is a great course if you are self-motivated and if you are interested in the field of teaching.”

“I completed the Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs) with The TEFL Academy and I must admit it has really given my confidence a great boost. The course is very well structured and the Units are very much in depth with several links for further and optional study. The course interface is very easy and user friendly to navigate. The activities really brings out the creativity in you as you have to apply all what you have learnt to achieve it. The excellent customer service response is highly appreciated as all your questions will be answered. I am happy to have passed with a distinction and I will recommend it to anyone who wishes to take a TEFL lesson.”

“I enjoyed studying the Level 5 (168) TEFL qualification online from The TEFL Academy. I was able to go at my own pace and revisit areas I was getting caught in knots. I have taught English at GCSE level in the UK for seven years, yet I am of a generation who did not get thorough grammar education themselves so this was a particular tricky area for me - I was able to redo exercises, redo the quizzes and figure out where I was going wrong. I recommend this course and feel that even I do not end up teaching in far flung corners of the world it has helped me professionally, thank you”

“Completed the 168 hour TEFL course within the timeframe planned and achieved my aim and objectives and as well passed with 2 assignments distinctions. “I started the TEFL 168hr online course in July 2018. I found it a comprehensive, interesting and well structured course. The web site was easy to navigate, and the units followed a logical progression. The three assignments were challenging- but you are provided with plenty of information and guidance. You get constructive feedback after each assignment, which I found really helpful. Overall I really enjoyed it, and would recommend it to anyone thinking of a TEFL qualification. I already teach English in Spain- and will certainly take what I have learnt and use it in my classes.”

“After hours of research of the best online course to realise my ambition of becoming a qualified TEFL teacher, I settled upon the TEFL Academy's 168-hour Level 5 TEFL course. I completed the course in 5 weeks and was impressed throughout. Each unit has been meticulously researched and presented in a highly-interactive and engaging manner. Tests throughout ensure that you do not proceed until fully competent in the skills covered by each unit. Be warned - there are no shortcuts and the assignments are truly challenging, as they should be. I was particularly impressed by the detailed and extensive feedback provided on each assignment - the Academy clearly does not believe in generic feedback and the guidance was very much appreciated. I would not hesitate to study with them again.”

“I just completed the Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs) and very pleasantly surprised with the content of the course. I thought for the price it would be short and easy to cheat, well I was ‘put right’ about that, the control was strict, and in fact for thr last assignment I had to resubmit three times! But that only made me more sure that the teaching was rigorous. The weekend course was also superb. I’d thoroughly recommend.”

“I have just finished studying for the Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hours) on Tefl Academy. I really enjoyed the course overall, the fact it was 100% online meant it was very flexible and I was able to study around my work. The course covered and tested us on every aspect of teaching, with three very unique assignments that were quite challenging. However, the tutors were very supportive and provided me with good advice for one of the assignments. I would definitely recommend Tefl Academy!”
