“Very good institute, look no further. The content was both high quality and very comprehensive, covering a variety of topics including lesson plans, teaching styles, grammar and more. The staff are also very supportive and quick to respond to any queries. I would definitely recommend them.”

“I absolutely loved the Course. I did the 168 hour Level 5 course and would highly recommend it. The layout was well presented and it was so easy navigating through it all. Very professionally done. As a qualified Montessori teacher I thought I knew enough, well this course taught me so much more. I never needed to contact any of the tutors for help during the course, but I could see by their feed back on assignments returned after marking that they were always ready and willing to explain if someone is not sure of something. Thank you TEFL Academy you are the best!!!”

“I recently completed my Level 5 168 hour TEFL certification through The Tefl Academy and can recommend this course to anyone wanting to get certified. The platform is easy to use and the materials are clear and concise making learning online, in your own time a pleasure. I have secured my first job teaching online and am certain the skills and knowledge I have gain through this course are going to stand me in good stead in my new career.”

“I studied the Level 5 Online Course and would definitely recommend it. The course content is well structured and clearly presented, and covers a wide range of topics. The units are interactive, and the end of unit tests ensure that you've actually learnt from the course and not just skipped through. There's plenty of additional resources and the job resources once you've passed are great too. Whenever I needed support a tutor replied to me quickly and always solved any issues I had. The assessments do require some effort, but I found doing them and the feedback I received from them very useful and feel that they have prepared me for teaching in the real world. Overall I feel the course has properly prepared me for teaching and I enjoyed taking it. There are lots of TEFL courses out there so it can be hard to choose, but I feel that the TEFL Academy genuinely wants to prepare you the be the best teacher you can be and I'm really glad I chose this course.”

“I started the course because I wanted to add to my knowledge and experience as a teacher of English as a foreign language. I appreciated how clearly structured the units were set up. The practical examples and explanations helped me see how I could teach certain elements of the English language more easily or simply just differently. I greatly enjoyed the course and believe I've gained a lot of great information that I will be applying in my future lessons!”

“I would fully recommend the Tefl Academy for anyone looking to complete their Tefl course. They offer a variety of course types to suit your needs. I found their Tutors to be very helpful providing me with the advice that I needed to pass the course. Their course material goes into great depth with a variety of resources that I'll continue to use when teaching students in the future.”

“I found TheTEFLAcademy’s course to be very thorough and user-friendly for a person who has had no prior experience in learning to teach! It was well thought-out and covered all the bases in a way that was easy to understand. The units of the course were not too long, nor too difficult, but still provided an insightful challenge in the form of the assignments. I think my only advice would be to communicate with students in a more efficient way than emails and tickets, as I believe this could greatly shorten the response time. Otherwise, a great course! I enjoyed it thoroughly and appreciate the effort that went into making its so user-friendly!”

“I'd recommend this course to anyone wanting to get a grasp on teaching English - and, really, any language they're familiar with. I came into this course as a Linguistics graduate and fluent in French (as well as being a native English speaker) so I do think that I found the language elements generally easier than someone else might, but I do think that the assignments are sufficiently challenging even for someone with some prior knowledge of language learning. I feel like I've had a rigorous experience and have earned the qualification whilst learning a lot about lesson planning on the way. Of course, this course doesn't pretend to teach you everything there is to know about the English language and thus it's meant to be more of a springboard into further development, but it definitely gives the building blocks to start you off and give you a sufficient training in the foundations of teaching English (or a foreign language). I'm really pleased with how it's gone and I'm looking forward to using the skills I've gained in the course in my future career progression.”

I have learned a lot of new things on the English language, small details that carries lot of weight. I am very glad I chose The TEFL Academy, I did much research before I started and ended up choosing the right academy. “Finishing the Level 5 course with the TEFL Academy in under 4 months feels like a super accomplishment! This course has given me the confidence to pursue an online teaching career after being in a classroom for a while. The different units were both interesting and extensive, and I would have welcomed even more assignments knowing that there was always support available. Feedback was detailed as I could clearly see which areas I could improve on. Overall, a great experience!”

“I studied the Level 5 TEFL Course. The assignments were a little challenging, but it was overall a great course. There was a whole lot of guidance within the course and assignments, and The TEFL Academy support team was also always ready to help further. The overall structure of the course was also quite user-friendly. Oh, and the fact that there was also a top-up short course of my choice on top of all of this was mind-blowing. I'm really glad I chose The TEFL Academy and I would definitely recommend it to others.”
