“The TEFL Academy offers a manageable and good understanding of teaching English as a foreign language. The modules are well planned and provide learners with the essential knowledge required to pass the end of module tests, all of which are suited to the level of learners. The modules also prepare learners for any follow-up assignments. The TEFL website is easy to navigate with lots of useful links and tips. I was very impressed by the overall delivery of the teaching and learning. I am very pleased to have achieved my TEFL certificate and would recommend the TEFL Academy to friends and family.”

“Thank You TEFL Academy! I recently completed the 120hour course with distinction and have since been offered jobs in Hong Kong and Japan. This Course has opened so many doors for me, allowing me to do much more with my post-graduate degree than originally planned. Some of the assignments may be difficult, especially for people who have not gone through tertiary education and for those I recommend working through the course with a friend. During the 20 hour face-to-face we had an excellent instructor, Linda, who gave us so much useful first hand insight and practical application of the skills we would need to apply in the real world. Great learning platform, resources and support. Highly recommend to anyone looking to pursue a career teaching abroad.”

“The online course from TEFL Academy taught me a lot about teaching English as a second language and the responsibility it takes. I recommend it to those looking into teaching English abroad. I personally believe that the online course is very insightful and well-organized. Each module covers an interesting topic around English and language learning. Customer Service were extremely helpful and available for inquiries.”

Now I have completed the course I have had three job offers in Spain in the last week! “I have just completed the 120 hour course and have also just accepted a teaching job in Spain to start in January. I'm so glad I did the course as it has opened up so many doors for me and opportunities that otherwise might not be possible. I'm really excited to start teaching and inspiring others! The course itself was very straightforward and informative, I have learned about all different kinds of things, including how to thoroughly plan lessons to get the most out of them (which I will definitely be continuing for my own lessons). I did the online course with a weekend classroom course and have enjoyed all of it. The classroom course was good fun as well as very educational, it was a great group of people and our teacher was excellent too. I would recommend this course if you really have an interest in teaching and wanting to inspire, motivate and improve the lives of others. Of course, the travel side of it is amazing but it's also a serious job that you need to commit to. The course will provide you with everything you need to know to get started, so if you're thinking about it then definitely go for it!”

“Against my initial expectation, I enjoyed immensely learning and being continually tested throughout this course. That part turned to be fun and made me feel I was growing in knowledge. “The on-line TEFL course is great, since you get on-line support almost inmediately. Also, the contents of the units are really interesting and the workbooks for self-study are of great help. Another good thing is that you have up to six months to complete it, so you have plenty of time. I will recommend this course to any English-to-be teacher.”
