“I am delighted to have just completed and passed the Level 5 TEFL course. I was delighted with the course as it was clear and insightful into a world of Teaching English as a Foreign Language. I also like that even when I had completed my course they were still in touch to assist further in my chosen career path. 10/10 for this course in my personal opinion. “Hello, I am a Namibian girl and I just finished my Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs) at The Tefl Academy and oh wow, that was an excellent opportunity. At first I thought that I would not make it because the second assignment seemed so challenging, but the good news is that the Academy gave me so much support, my tutor marker was very helpful and with every feedback he gave me, I started to understand my work more. The course content is very well structured, easy to follow and great for self study. If it is your dream to teach English abroad or online, do not let this opportunity go by because the chance is NOW! I am sending my best wishes to those who have not yet finished their course, and to those who are yet to take the course.”

“Great intro for teaching English, with really engaging content which is not necessarily easy for an online platform to provide (at least in my experience). Very good support team and very useful assignments to learn how to structure a lesson and teach in meaningful and effective ways. Definitely recommended for anyone looking to teach English!”

“I did the online 168 hour Tefl course which was very informative and thoroughly enjoyable. Because I will be teaching online only, I just wish it had included more online training and actual video/class training as an assignment. It would have been great to have feedback and marks on this, in order to be totally ready to teach online.”

“I really enjoyed this course, the materials and lessons provided were helpful and interesting. The assignments were very practical and challenging and I received very detailed and helpful feedback to help me with following assignments in the course. I would highly recommend doing this TEFL course with TEFL academy, it’s a great addition to your resume and a great job to do while travelling the world. I’m excited to put my certificate to good use and see the world while teaching English around the world!”

“I recently completed the level 5 TEFL Course through The TEFL Academy. The course provides you with all the necessary information needed to complete all the tasks, as well as plenty 'Further Reading' material ensuring that you better understand and allowing you to further your knowledge if you wish. The content is beneficial and well laid out for you and the units in this course are entertaining, often including short quizzes/activities which definitely assisted me in the learning process, "The best way to learn is to do" - Paul Halmos. I was satisfied with the course overall and look forward to utilising my certificate in teaching English online. I would recommend doing your course through The TEFL Academy as they offer you loads of support throughout your learning and also, they give you more than enough time to complete the course, it's a stress-free, fun and interactive course that can open many doors for you.”

“I completed this course online and I’m very pleased. It has provided me with plenty of knowledge and has opened up Opportunities. The course is super easy to navigate with straightforward language, And the assignments are a great amount of challenging. As it’s online, there’s no face to face feedback (Although it’s still well provided) and class practice but for an online course it prepares you as best as it can.”

“What an excellent and enjoyable experience having completed the Level 5 TEFL Qualification from The TEFL Academy. Well-designed, thought-provoking assignments, exposure to immense online resources, up-to-date application of teaching methodologies, honest assignment reviews, and the course is perfect for self-study. There are a lot of extra resources included throughout the course, which can be a great source of information or just further reading; I could not go through each resource in detail, but I have saved the links and will do so in due time. The feedback throughout the course is fantastic, and I received the pdf certification promptly. I am now waiting to receive the original by mail. The only thing that I wish was included in addition to it all would be at least one online training session or perhaps one online session with a TEFL professional on the completion of the course to provide guidance, assessment and teaching insights. I do plan on taking advantage of the 10hr Teaching Practice Course as well as the free top-up course. I honestly couldn’t be happier that I chose to reinvent myself as a teacher and decided to do so through The TEFL Academy. Good luck to you all!”

“I live in South Africa and have recently qualified at TEFL Academy and I have no regrets in choosing them. I am very pleased with their prompt response rate, helpful assistance and resources provided. I chose the online option of the Lvl. 5 TEFL course and I have had no issues. I usually struggle with self study but the course was fun and interesting and kept me engaged with their interactive activities inside their Units. “I am a teacher by profession with many years of experience. I felt that the Level 5 course that I studied with the TEFL Academy is of a very high standard and very reasonably priced. I am happy to know that it is at the same level as the much sought after Cambridge Celta Course and Trinity College TESOL Course. All my questions were very promptly answered and I received my pdf certificate within days of completing the course. There are no further costs involved for sending a hard copy of the certificate. My one criticism is that more online teaching in both units and assignments should be included in the course that I followed as this is the route that many teachers will be following since the outbreak of covid 19. I have made this suggestion to the TEFL Academy.”

“I really enjoyed studying with The TEFL Academy to gain my level 5 TEFL qualification. I had set my heart on getting this qualification since November 2016 when I was at a Muay-Thai camp in Phuket, Thailand. I did not want to leave or go home but I did not have a trade and had not completed my Degree (at the time) to stay there and teach. Now that I have this qualification under my belt I feel comfortable in applying to international schools and working online teaching. I found the course to be really informative and I believe that it will help me in lots of different aspects of life. I did expect to complete the qualification sooner than I did (This took me 4 almost 5 months) although it kept me busy throughout the Covid-19 pandemic. I felt that the course was really well put together and the markers gave helpful feedback. I would certainly recommend this to anyone who wants to get into teaching or already is involved in teaching and wants to travel post Covid19.”
