“I just recently completed the Level 5 TEFL Course and found it really well laid out. The alternative I was considering before I signed up would have been a PDF document to go through the learning material, but I'm so glad I went with The TEFL Academy as their online system was so much more fun to go through. Their online learning platform is really nicely done, guides you step by step through the material and lets you progress at your own pace. The only drawbacks I found were that some of the questions to revise the material were just far too simple, the assignment instructions could be explained better, well in a simpler manner - it took me a while to find out exactly what to do, which documents to use etc. and also that some tutor feedback was fairly minimal or didn't really make sense and there's no way (I haven't found one) to contact your tutor directly, i.e. a support ticket needs to be opened. So these are not necessarily points to criticise, but to point out some room for improvement. In general, as mentioned above, I really enjoyed the whole journey and would choose The TEFL Academy again. If you still have any doubts ... simply go for it, it's fun!”

“The course is thorough and is presented well. The assignments are set at a good standard and are explained well. The 20-hour weekend is worthwhile as one can always refer back the experience of being a student and trying to prepare a small lesson. The TEFL Academy provides a sound preparation.”

“The TEFL Academy is both a professional and zealous experience. Don’t know how The Academy does it, but it’s as if a real person is continually involved in your study process; one finds it hard to think of it as a long-distance study platform. The Level 5 TEFL Course is engaging and well-designed. Assignments give you a great sense of empowerment, because the knowledge that is being conveyed to you throughout the course is brilliantly Level 5.
