“The course was so useful and helped me better understand the English language and how to communicate and teach it to others. I enjoyed the flexibility of learning in your own time, and that the information given in this course, it adapts to any learning style and provides enough content and references needed.”

“I believe I have made the best choice by joining the TEFL Academy, It was a great experience enrolling in the 168-hour level 5 TEFL. The course is well structured and very clear. I had a wonderful time studying online during the lock-down. The course covers all the materials from all aspects that a TEFL teacher might need. I highly recommend TEFL Academy.”

“I was extremely happy with this course purchase. I took the 168-hour level 5 course & the course did what they said it would do on the tin. It’s user friendly, and the price is very competitive. All emails were answered in accordance with the set promised response times, so no having to wait for days to get a hold of someone at the other end. I particularly liked the assignments because it gave me the opportunity to incorporate what I had learnt into practice. Even if you happened to fail an assignment, a very thorough feedback was given back to you which allowed you the chance to increase your grade.”

“Learning to teach English online was a breeze with the TEFL Academy. Especially considering that due to lockdown regulations, I found myself with a lot of free time on my hands. “I found the course to be very well laid out and covered an extensive amount of subject matters, particularly grammar. The slides were easy to follow and informative, and the mini tests at the end of each unit helped to consolidate what had been learned. I chose to complete the course towards the end of my PGCE when lockdown started and it complemented my PGCE course really well. As I couldn’t do any teaching practice, the assignments meant I could still implement teaching skills such as designing lesson plans. The assignments were returned in a timely manner with very good feedback which helped me improve on the next one. I was pleased I was able to dedicate the time to finish the course in less than the 6 months.”

“I studied the Level 5 TEFL Course and it helped me to re-learn English grammar in an easy and comprehensive way. The units follow each other in a logical way. Their methodology of teaching how to teach all levels, children, and adults prepares one adequately for teaching these levels. I would encourage other students to also attend the 2 days formal class as it helped me to understand the course better. Seeing in a practical way how one has to teach students who have no clue about the language was helpful too.”

“Clear and concise from the get-go! My experience in obtaining my TEFL Qualification through The TEFL Academy has been very satisfactory. I am a very organised person, so having a course that is clearly structured and navigates very easy where you know how far you are with each module and having extra navigation panes to see all the topics in the module, makes this course easily 'digestible'! Yes, it's hard work but every concept is so well explained and should you have a query, the response time is always quicker than they promise. Honestly, the marking of assignments and receiving my certificate were both quicker than promised, all contributing to a very satisfied student. Assignment instructions are very clear and even if you've forgotten all your grammar rules, this course will get you right on track. It is comprehensive and everything you need to start your TEFL career. If you want to obtain your TEFL certification, I can strongly recommend The TEFL Academy!”

“A few weeks ago, I have finished the Level 5 TEFL Course and the Business English course with The TEFL Academy. Both courses were completely online and flexible. I managed to complete the course while studying for a degree and fulfilling other commitments. I definitely recommend The TEFL Academy! It provides you with engaging material that keeps you interested and great tools for teaching. “This is the BEST online course I've taken on - or any other online platform for that matter. I appreciate the care taken to script each lesson and I also like the structure that kept me engaged. There's nothing worse than listening to an instructor who's not even prepared and is "just sitting there" in front of a camera. The course however kept me intrigued with a desire to keep progressing through each slide of each unit. I also liked the assessments as they prepare you for literal lesson and in class expectation for both the school as well as the students. I plan on applying what I learned from this course at work. The TEFL Academy has truly shifted my view of teaching into a positive light.”
