“When I decided to take a TEFL course, I have no clue about which the best options were. I surfed the net until I got to TEFL Academy and I do not regret about the choice made. The quality level they were offering, the quick response to my emails and of course the good price helped in my decision. I am really happy and excited about having completed the Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs). It counts with all that is needed to know for teaching. It covers the essential issues and now I feel more confident at the moment to stand up in front of students and to apply the different techniques suggested throughout the course. I strongly recommend to take this course! Now, it is time to give the next step, find a good job somewhere there. Juan P. B.”

“The 168 hour TEFL course provided by TEFL Academy is a very affordably priced and intensive course for those seeking to obtain their TEFL qualification. The course contains a range of components essential for the classroom. Some units are focused on lesson planning and teaching methods whilst others focus on grammar. I believe the course covers each section in adequate detail and I feel comfortable that I can commence a career as an English teacher. The in-class component of the course is also very open and friendly. I had the chance to communicate with other students and got to experience lesson planning first hand. I am very satisfied with the overall quality of the course and I would highly recommend it for those seeking to become ESL teachers.”

The online part of the course was well-structured, easy to navigate, and several exercises to practice the contents of the units. In the same way, the classroom session was interesting and challenging, the instructor was a professional guy and delivered an enjoyable course. “The online lessons were clear and easy to follow. This was a convenient way for me to learn while also working full-time. I did the TEFL Academy Level 5 (168 hour) course. The face to face weekend with an instructor and lesson practice was excellent. The teacher was able to keep us engaged for 10 hours on two consecutive days. She demonstrated many of the key lessons that we were also learning online. The assignments were complex and time-consuming, but I felt at the end of them that I had really learned many great strategies for teaching English. There is nothing like learning by doing!”

“There are many options online to get a TEFL certification and it’s smart to do a good research before you choose. I ended up with the Level 5 TEFL Course (168-hrs) and I am very satisfied. It is well-structured and affordable. The content has a great scope, the instructions are clear and the tutors' feedback are very constructive. Not to mention, the many job opportunities and resources you will get access to after the main training. I have gained more confidence and I really feel eager to teach again. Thank you, TTA!”

“I studied the Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs) and enjoyed working through the Units at my own pace. To complement the units each one had further reading support material to broaden knowledge. The assignments were challenging but helped consolidate the work covered in the Units. The TEFL Academy tutor responses were always constructive and positive and support was available at every stage. I am delighted that I have now been awarded my TEFL certificate and feel like a whole new avenue has been opened up to me.”

“I have recently passed the Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs) course after studying on and off for five months. Don't be put off if you work, like I do. It is possible to complete this course in your 'spare' time. I'm what might be described as a mature student but a native English speaker. Each Unit of the online course taught me new skills as well as refreshing some old, almost forgotten English grammar. There is a useful 'end of unit' test, just to check what you have learned. But the real tests appear in the three assignments. These are quite challenging but do assess, very well, what you have learned. The weekend course provided a wonderful opportunity to practice 'teaching' skilss in front of a 'class' of your fellow students. An excellent exercise. There appears to be a large array of job opportunities at all times. If you're thinking of teaching English to foreign students then I would thoroughly recommend this challenging and comprehensive course. It's well worth the effort.”
