“The online lessons were clear and easy to follow. This was a convenient way for me to learn while also working full-time. I did the TEFL Academy Level 5 (168 hour) course. The face to face weekend with an instructor and lesson practice was excellent. The teacher was able to keep us engaged for 10 hours on two consecutive days. She demonstrated many of the key lessons that we were also learning online. The assignments were complex and time-consuming, but I felt at the end of them that I had really learned many great strategies for teaching English. There is nothing like learning by doing!”

“There are many options online to get a TEFL certification and it’s smart to do a good research before you choose. I ended up with the Level 5 TEFL Course (168-hrs) and I am very satisfied. It is well-structured and affordable. The content has a great scope, the instructions are clear and the tutors' feedback are very constructive. Not to mention, the many job opportunities and resources you will get access to after the main training. I have gained more confidence and I really feel eager to teach again. Thank you, TTA!”

“I studied the Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs) and enjoyed working through the Units at my own pace. To complement the units each one had further reading support material to broaden knowledge. The assignments were challenging but helped consolidate the work covered in the Units. The TEFL Academy tutor responses were always constructive and positive and support was available at every stage. I am delighted that I have now been awarded my TEFL certificate and feel like a whole new avenue has been opened up to me.”

“I have recently passed the Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs) course after studying on and off for five months. Don't be put off if you work, like I do. It is possible to complete this course in your 'spare' time. I'm what might be described as a mature student but a native English speaker. Each Unit of the online course taught me new skills as well as refreshing some old, almost forgotten English grammar. There is a useful 'end of unit' test, just to check what you have learned. But the real tests appear in the three assignments. These are quite challenging but do assess, very well, what you have learned. The weekend course provided a wonderful opportunity to practice 'teaching' skilss in front of a 'class' of your fellow students. An excellent exercise. There appears to be a large array of job opportunities at all times. If you're thinking of teaching English to foreign students then I would thoroughly recommend this challenging and comprehensive course. It's well worth the effort.”

“Although challenging at times as this was my first course in teaching, completing my Level 5 TEFL (168 hrs) course with The TEFL Academy was one of the best decisions I ever made! The course was well-organized, very easy to follow and the customer and tutor support was great. I would encourage anyone to do this course, it has really taught me so much and challenged me in many ways. Thank you TEFL Academy!”

“I enrolled for the 168 hour level 5 course, not really knowing what to expect. With the guidence of the trainer it became clear that this course is of a very high standard. The help from the admin was excellent. The contents of the course helped me to become a better teacher. I can promote this course to anyone that would like to start their teaching career.”

“I'm really happy with the Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs) I took. The online portion of the course is well formatted, and the sections are appropriately laid out in a way that the information is easy to understand at your own pace. The assignments are a great assessment of your grasp on the material, so that you can be confident that you are prepared to teach once you complete the certification. The in-class weekend of the course had a helpful and nice instructor, and the TEFL Academy is easy to contact if you ever need assistance throughout the course.”

I have been teaching in the last two years in an academy in Barcelona and what I have learnt in the TEFL course is the best help I had had about my job. “The TEFL Acadamy 168hr Level 5 Course was very thorough and professional. The teacher for the two day face to face was inspiring, articulate, genuine, very experienced and extremely helpful. I am an experienced elementary school teacher who is very thankful to get such an intense grammar refresher. The assignments were always marked on time, fairly and with great feedback.”

“I have completed the Level 5 TEFL Course (168hrs), with the combined course I did the in-class practice before properly starting my online course and I feel it helped me get a basic grasp on the information that I would learn in the online course. The online course material was overall in-depth and informative, with the exception of one or two sections that were shorter in information, however, they did supplement this with a good number of useful external links for those specific parts. I did use the ticket system, that they have for if you need help, and found that I got a response typically within a few hours, which was great! The tutors were also fantastic with their feedback and gave me advice that I could use to help me improve my skills for future use. I would recommend TEFL Academy, especially the combined 168hr course, to anyone that wants to get a TEFL certificate.”

“I have just completed the level 5, 168 hours. I was extremely happy with the content of the work and the course on the whole. The course work were very informative and I do feel that I am well prepared to teach a foreign class. The only hiccup was that the final assignment needed to be in long before the due date which can be difficult.”

“The chief affair is that the Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs) is exceedingly pliable! I love that I'm able to start a section and if life gets in the way I can come back and finish the section weeks later. It allowed me to vastly improve my working and practical knowledge of ESL Teaching. Also, it’s a QCF Level 5 course, which means I now have the equivalent of a CELTA Certificate for a quarter of the price. The TEFL academy is a good company and I’m extremely happy with their Level 5 course.”

“The Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs) that I have just completed with the TEFL Academy has provided me with the knowledge and confidence to go out and teach English to foreign students! I found the course to be incredibly useful in preparing me for a variety of teaching situations, and techniques for being the best teacher I can be. “I've just finished studying the 168 hour, Level 5 TEFL Course with The TEFL Academy and it was an excellent course! It's a UK registered qualification, too, which - for the price - is amazing! I'd highly recommend it based upon my experience. I used their support a couple of times, and they got back to me really quickly and were super friendly and helpful. “I partook in the Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs) and it was an experience that I would have never imagined. Not only do I feel like the course has prepared me to teach English in a foreign country but it helps you understand even basic things on being a great teacher regardless the material you will be teaching. I am originally a Math and science teacher for 1st-4th grade and I was able to get soooo much out of this course to better my skills as a teacher. I truly appreciate the experience and I would highly encourage all and anyone to partake. I missed being in school and this really brought great memories.
