“Having just completed the Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs), I feel extremely confident in the skills and knowledge I have learnt. This course prepares you well to teach English as a foreign language. The actual course is easy to navigate, the content is interesting and plenty of guidance is given for assignments. An excellent experience with The TEFL Academy!”

“The course is very accessible. It has a lot of detail & help is easily available should you need it. The assignments are varied & interesting and the unit tests are not too long. You are allowed to re-take the tests as many times as you like so the pressure isn’t there. All in all, a great course.”

“Although I have been teaching English for years, it contributed more than I expected to my skills, planning and use of internet, what's more, it broadened my vision.”

“I recently completed the Level 5 TEFL 168 hour course - I loved the experience. There was a good balance between theory and application both in the course content and the assignments. I am a qualified teacher but this course still challenged me especially on the lesson planning side and in ways of creatively achieving learning objectives. The course was well-supported by TEFL and I felt confident studying remotely. I have signed up for the Business English module and look forward to completing that soon, too!”

“the course covered content that is important for teachers to know. I took the level 5 168 hour TEFL course and felt as if it really prepared me and gave me the resources for when I go out and teach my own English learners.”

“The TEFL Cert IV from The TEFL Academy was fantastic. for essentially a 20th of the price of an in-class course like the CEFR, I believe I have gotten the same value education. The course is certified by many respected bodies and although for the job I had lined up I only really needed any certificate, for basically the same price and this will help me into future jobs. Additionally, the amount I learnt from this course was well worth it and I'm glad I didn't gamble by trying to save another $20 or so.”

The course is clearly laid out, the content understandable, the language skills and grammar are explained in detail and examples are given so as to ascertain learning is achieved. I have gained immensely from this course and aim to put it to good use in the near future.”

“I am delighted to have just completed the Level 5 TEFL Course (168 hrs) through the TEFL Academy. I am also happy I chose the combined TEFL course option as the face-to-face weekend was enjoyable and gave me good insight for what I would cover during the course studied. I also enjoyed the interaction, team work and meeting of new people from all cultures, ages and work experiences. Having left school some 40 years ago, I did initially find the online studies challenging, but as I began to work through the units, I found the teaching material was interesting, fun, well structured and easy to follow. I particularly enjoyed the activities within the units and end of unit tests. The assignments were challenging for me, but at the same time I enjoyed the research one needed to do in order to complete the assignment. I have been impressed with the prompt and very good communication experienced with the staff of the TEFL Academy. Thank you for all your support and the opportunity to expand my knowledge and equip me to begin a new career. The standard of the course material is impressive. I would definitely recommend anyone wanting to teach English to foreign students to do this level 5 course through the TEFL Academy. It was overall a wonderful experience.”

“Extremely well structured, balanced and detailed on-line training course with a wealth of extra resources that students can choose to follow-up on or not. Had been meaning to do this for some time - should have done so much sooner!”

“The TEFL level 5 course was not only pretty complete but also quite interactive and super informative. I did learn a lot doing this course and explored a really big amount of new subjects and things I didn't know before. The tests at the end of the units were very helpful and made me aware of things I needed to go back to and study again. They also confirmed those things I had already understood well enough.”
