“Recommended by a friend, the workmen came on time every morning like clock work. They were very pleasant, professional and the work was carried out with the minimum in disruption. My old windows are scarcely recognisable with the renovations and the difference in sound protection and heat is really noticeable.”

“A really excellent experience. Professional, high quality and with great attention to detail. I'm a returning customer, with both jobs having been done to a very high standard and at a very competitive price. Great knowledge from both Dean, and also Sam who carried out the works. Overall, a really positive and friendly experience carried out but professionals who appear to take a lot of pride in their work. I have no hesitation in recommending them!!”

“Spending money on repairing sash windows is never on the top of my list but the work done by the Sash Window men was worth every penny. We feel warmer, more secure and surprisingly happier now that our windows have been refurbished. The work was done perfectly, quickly, on time and on budget. Thank you guys. We are very happy.”

“The Sash Window Man did a great job on our old wooden sash windows and frames, repairing everything they could and doing a beautiful replacement of one that was too far gone. Everyone who worked for them was punctual, nice and left everything tidy (they were also very nice to our cats!). I would definitely recommend.”

“A huge, huge thanks to Dean, David and their amazing team on my window refurbishment. I wanted double glazing, but wanted to keep the coloured Victorian glass on my Crouch End flat meaning double glazing wasn't an option. I was apprehensive at first about whether the servicing and repair offered by The Sash Window Man would reduce noise and retain heat, but after assurance from the team, I went ahead. Honestly....I couldn't be happier. The team was incredibly friendly and punctual, and always a pleasure to deal with. They repaired the windows to an exceptional standard. And best of all...I think the noise was reduced by >80% and the heat is retaining....AND i get to keep the original Victorian glass! Highly recommended!!!!”

“I’ve been using this company for the last 10 years at least and they are excellent! The customer service and workmanship is second to none! If they can salvage a sash window they will which obviously is far more cost saving than replacing the entire window box etc. I cannot rate them highly enough”

“This is a well run company. From planning to completion I was kept updated. During removal of the old window the fitter recognised that the wrong weights had previously been used which he was able to rectify immediately. The new window was beautifully constructed and finished and I shall certainly be returning to this company in the future. Great team Dean, Matt and Sam.”

“Fantastic service. They were a similar price to other companies quoting but much more comprehensive in explaining what needed to be done and why. They also explained what they were doing to prevent future issues. When they arrived to do the work, they were friendly, polite, professional and did a great job. I would definitely recommend them.”

“The whole team from a very professional and reassuring survey and quotation visit from Dean, to the guys who came to do the work over 2 visits, and the painting partner, were everything you'd want. Reliable, tidy, friendly, good people! I'm very pleased to have invested in refurbishing (and repainting) all my sashes through them and the result was immediately noticeable”

“Excellent service all round. Very good value for money and very pleased with the result. The company replaced an old, single glazed sash window with a new, matching one in thin double glazing. The original frame and sill were repaired at the bottom but otherwise left intact. The same process was carried out with my old, single glazed French doors. New doors, with laminate safety glass were installed, whilst the original frame was left intact apart from some repair work at the bottom. The whole job was done very efficiently in a day by two polite and highly skilled operatives who tidied everything away at the end.”

“I've used The Sash Window Man several times for a phased programme of renovation on my Victorian sash windows. They did a brilliant job. The craftsmanship was excellent, great service and clear information from Dean and David, and the renovation team were quick, efficient, friendly and cleaned up properly.
