“TCK recently replaced our garage roof. We are delighted with the result. From the initial meeting, quotation and then the works, everything was handled in a professional but friendly manner. Kris and Nicholas carried out the work. They always arrived on time and were great to have around. They always made sure that our home was secure and made sure that pets did not escape. The site was always safe and neat. Nothing was too much trouble and they were happy to give advice on other matters relating to the roof repair. I would not look anywhere else for a roof repair and can highly reccoment TCK.”

“TCK Roofing and Building Contractors is a family run company based in Bushey Heath for several decades. TCK are the initials of the brothers Thomas and Christopher Keaney. They are the owners of this excellently run company with years of experience and expertise in diagnosing and solving roof problems. They both have excellent communication skills, their verbal explanations are always backed up with photographic images throughout their workings. They employ a loyal team of skilled workers, many of whom have been with TCK for years. These are honest, reliable, courteous men who are very tidy. Nothing is too much trouble for them, even to cleaning out the gutters free of charge. This November Christopher, Kris and Nicholas replaced an area of broken tiles on my cottage roof, that is over a hundred years old. These were damaged by a previous company and were not visible to me until I was able to see daylight in the loft! The same team a few years ago, completely replaced my next-door neighbour's flat roof, including several sky lights. This was a new build and badly constructed by the original developer, sadly never weatherproof! It was a large area and took many weeks of skilled work to complete. I recommended TCK to a friend who owns a Grade II listed house as after many years, the valley roof and guttering had become rotten, this was expertly replaced and is now completely water tight. TCK have also replaced my daughter's large summer house roof, which was quite a task! All of these people, including myself, are very satisfied and pleased with TCK's work and professionalism. I would not hesitate to recommend such a reliable company.”

“Thomas was called out for 2 issues we had with our roof and bay window. He explained the situation in a clear way and gave me the confidence that he would be able to resolve the problems. His workmen were punctual, polite and explained the work as it was being done. The bay window provided more work than was first thought but despite the additional work they continued to search for where the leak originated and didn't charge for the additional call outs. I would recommend TCK for a professional service and their expertise.”

“TCK carried out significant repair and maintenance work to my roof in August 2025. My experience is that they are a reputable, honest, professional and very considerate firm. I'm very satisfied with the quality of the work carried out and in addition they also helped out on two small jobs which they were not obliged/contracted to do. I have passed on their details to a friend of mine who also needs a quality roofing contractor.”

“From the moment we met Thomas and his team we felt we were in safe hands. Thomas immediately impressed us with his knowledge and foresight about building repairs and we were in no doubt that we felt we could trust TCK to do a good job. And we were absolutely right! His team headed up by Kryz were equally first class. They made an excellent job of matching as well as possible (with an older house) both roof tiles and bricks and the high standard of the final repair work is testament to their professionalism. They were courteous and polite and always left the site neat and tidy at the end of the day and on the completion of the work. Thank you, team! In addition Thomas was an excellent communicator over the progress of the work, always replying promptly to any email. Following our experience with TCK, we are happy to highly recommend them.”

“Excellent Work Mr Thomas Keaney first visited the property and gave us a detailed report and estimate. It was very useful. He also, showed us a dangerous area on the wall about to collapse which could have caused serious injuries to people below and which we have not noticed. It was very easy to communicate with him. He fixed a start date for Christopher and his team of four skilled workers came and carried out the work. They were very organised, on time and did the work professionally. We were worried about roof leaking for months. Two other roofing companies previously carried out works but they could not find the final part of the puzzle. TCK did. They were very kind, caring and have the best roofing and building experience and skills. Cleaned the area properly. Sent us all the photographs before and after. They were recommended by one of my friends. She has recommended them to several other friends. Their prices were reasonable. They did extra work for no charges. We are very happy and recommend to anyone. In the future, we will not contact anyone for our roof repairs and building work except TCK. Internal wall was plastered and changed the rotten wood, which we have not noticed before. You can trust TCK to do an excellent job for 110%. They started work 2nd January and finished within One and half weeks. They were Angels sent by God. Thank you Thomas. Thank you Christopher and the team. “It was a pleasure dealing with everyone at TCK. Friendly and prompt responses to all calls and emails; visits to our property were businesslike and frank and were followed up quickly via email and post. Full photo records were provided at several stages of the work to demonstrate the issues with our roof and, later the work in progress and finally the competed job. Full explanations were also given in person.This evidence stream enabled us to see the quality workmanship but also assured us that all the work undertaken was necessary. Invoicing was efficient, all correspondence was courteous and informative and the work was very thorough. Would recommend very highly indeed.”

“I had what I thought to be a fairly minor issue resulting in a damp patch on the ceiling of my spare bedroom and I'd already had two previous companies inspect the problem but neither had inspired me with much confidence. But I was delighted when I was introduced to TCK. Christopher gave me a very thorough report on the condition on my entire back roof including providing numerous photos and it was very clear that I had extensive problems that could have remained hidden for much longer if not for his diligence. As recommended by Christopher, I asked a surveying company to have a look at his report and they confirmed everything that he had detailed. Christopher and his team duly carried out the work in a most impressive style. They were exceptionally courteous and extremely thorough in every aspect of their work and I cannot recommend TCK enough.”

“I had a spongy??!! flat roof that was about 20 years old. A few local roof companies come in & quoted. Upon researching them further, I did not think that some of them would be around for the next 20 years to honour their guarantees. A surveyor friend recommended TCK (who have been around since 1969 and long may they prosper!) Thomas (one of many talented and charming brothers) came along and talked me thru possible problems and the need for insulation etc. I had skylights built in and we discussed changing them to triple glazed glass. Although their quote was dearer than the others, it was worth paying the premium. Chris (another brother)- relaxed and meticulous in managing his team, some who have been with TCK for over a decade supervised the work and got stuck in as well. His team were professional, hardworking and experienced. Health & Safety was prioritised with fire extinguishers placed by the bitumen boiler etc. The job wasn’t rushed, on site problems were pointed out & remedied including spotting a TV ariel that had caused a chimney to move!. Photographs were provided to document the work and Warranty certificates provided immediately after payment. So, refreshing to experience tradecraft and courtesy in this day & age. Thanking the 'A' team - Christopher, Chris,Nicholas, George & Tom.”

““I discovered damp at the back of my wardrobe that was clearly the result of a long standing roofing problem. l had two quotes from 'roofers' who inspired little or no confidence. TCK were recommended to me by a friend and I am indebted to her. Not only did Christopher Keaney take the trouble to look inside the loft as well as the roof outside, but he took lots of photographs and provided me with a detailed diagnosis of the problem and an estimate. I knew I needed to look no further. Christopher's professionalism and attention to detail were impressive. I was kept informed of progress via photographs and videos and consulted/advised if a query arose. He always answered my texts and emails promptly and politely. The team always arrived on time, worked extremely hard and were unfailingly courteous. They left the premises spotless. Having been stung many times over the years by 'cowboy' traders, I am delighted to have found a company that takes such pride in the quality of their work and customer service. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending TCK and will certainly call on them again should the need arise. Thank you Christopher, Chris and Nicholas.””

“A year or so after buying my current property, i noticed some problems with the roof that could develop into larger issues if not attended too in the foreseeable future. I contacted T.C.K as a starting point and spoke to Thomas, with regards to the ongoing issue. After a brief conversation, we agreed a day and time for him to come to my property and have a closer and inspection. As a rule of thumb, i always get three seperate quotes, from three different companies when i undertake any form of home improvement, where work outside of my own gas/heating remit is required. Not only to compare prices, but to also compare and gauge the wealth of knowledge and information from each company representative/director attending my home. After having a look at my roof, and with his digital camera in hand, Tom spent over an hour explaining to me how the problem came to be, how to remedy the problem, and how long the work would take. From that conversation, i could tell Thomas really knew his stuff, but I still went on to contact two other roofing companies; the second company I spoke with suggested a cheap "patch it up" job, and after a telephone call to a third company, it was evident that they were simply out of their depth for the specific type of work required. Shortly after booking the work in with Thomas, the T.C.K lads then came out to do the work and were very thorough and pedantic, keeping my partner informed at the beginning and end of each day of what was happening, which i really did appreciate, as i also have a keen interest/eye for detail. Going forward, i will always recommend T.C.K to friends and family, and should i even need something as simple as advice over the phone, i wouldn't hesitate to contact Tom.”

“Thomas made a special effort to come and look at our roof one evening after we had been let down by another company. He spent over an hour exploring the problem in minute detail and compiled an excellent report, including more than 20 photographs illustrating the problem. The original roofer has now admitted underperforming and is coming back to complete the job properly. Thomas is fantastic, someone not only with technical skill but with a value system to go with it that genuinely wants to help people. I have no doubt we will use TCK going forward, very rarely have I met someone who has been as helpful as Thomas, he has spent hours on our problem and is fully understanding of our position. A massive recommend if you want someone you can trust - don't we all?”

Must also mention specialist scaffolders Michael and Aidan who came up with a solution in a very confined space which allowed unimpeded access to my and my neighbours' properties during the works.”

“Work carried out on my roof over 4 days by very skilled professionals who arrived on time every morning. They were courteous and willing to answer any queries that I raised. My drive and pathways were always hosed down at the end of each day. All contacts I had with Mr Keaney and the office were friendly and professional and I would have no hesitation in recommending TCK if asked.”
