“From the HMRC I was due go receive £161 from paying too much tax over the past 3 years. From the tax rebate I was only due £80 and after being taxed on that I only received £50. I wish I had gone straight through the HMRC as I did not know I would be taxed on tax already. I only contacted the tax rebate to see if I was owed money on uniform tax and it said I was entitled to £380 which was a false amount.”

“Easy to apply for tax rebate although took a long time between applying and getting the money. They don’t make it that clear that they take 25% of your claim as a fee AND that you are taxed on that fee.”
