“Firstly I love the chocolate protein made into a hot choc so will continue to get that. I am however very sad about the vanilla protein and the unflavoured. I had the vanilla which I used to really enjoy but it frankly tastes awful! It has a very strong bitter/ ammonia type smell and after taste. I am particularly sad about the fact sugar has now been added to the unflavoured protein and the protein content has gone through the floor! I used to mix a flavour with half an amount of unflavoured and now I can't do that without hitting like 11g of sugar. It really isn't warranted in the unflavoured as I would say if people are buying that they are adding their own flavours, fruits and sweetening agents. Please consider removing the sugar from this again as it seems you has a lot of unhappy customers with regard to this move. I probably won't use my unopened packet of this now considering which is a shame and waste of my money really.... I will have to stick to chocolate and hope that doesn't change again.”

We added a little sugar to the Unflavoured to bring it in line with the rest of the sweet shake range - but we understand that for some, it is now too sweet. If your focus is max protein and collagen without the sugar, our Unflavoured Bone Broth Protein is a better fit. It’s our purest, most concentrated option (essentially the same product as the original Unflavoured Shake). “The strawberry bone broth doesn't work for me. Sure it's a quality product, but the two flavours don't mix I thought strawberry would be more prominent and hid the bone flavour. Has to be one flavour or the other, not both combined to create something almost undrinkable. Will have to try and mask in a smoothy so the spend isn't wasted. Sadly, wouldn't be reordering.”

“The bone broth powders are a great aid to workout recovery without saturated fat my skin is positively glowing so for these reasons I would recommend. The downside is the taste! If misery was a flavour the beef has achieved it and the chicken has an animal pen quality about it that stays with you long after it has been consumed. Mix them with a spoonful of bovril and they are palatable. I must have sensitive taste buds because drinking these is tougher than the workout but because of the benefits I persevere!”

“Reviews were all very good but sadly, for me, this does not taste as pleasant as I hoped it would. Unfortunately the smell of the beef is awful so I struggle to drink it. Will try and use up the cartons, but I feel it’ll be a struggle sadly. UPDATED Revised review: The chicken is much more palatable than the beef, but game changer - I add an oxo cube which thankfully improves the taste and smell. 😁”

“Little flavour and ridiculously expensive. I added Bovril to make a tasty drink. But my butcher gives away bones for free, or sometimes asks for 50p or asks for a donation to the charity box depending on who serves you. Obviously it takes time to make your own, but it's not time you have to use working on the product! I decided to buy your product because my left wrist is in plaster but I shall make my own again in future.”
