Hour Cottage in Stow on the Wold was the perfct location for visiting the Cotswolds and within easy walking distance of all the facilities Stow itself provided. We had a great holiday and Sykes kept us fully updated to the minute we arrived!!

Our second stay at Pinfold View was just as enjoyable as the first. The property, in a lovely location, is well equipped and very well maintained. All electical equipment is of a high quality including the new Ninja Air Fryer, and the general standard of bedding and furnishing is very good. As an extended family of grandparents, son, daughter and son in law and their two boys plus a greyhoung we found, again that the property was very well suited to our requirements. Five stars to Mr and Mrs Smith the owners.

Wonderful barn conversion in a very peaceful location. Butterwell Barn is spacious, comfortable, beautifully decorated and well-equipped. Host Gail is super-helpful and always willing to help.

Nice property in great location. Only reason for not giving 5 stars is the oven did not work, the upstairs light would not stay on and the king size bed mattress was too hard. Messaged the owner about the light and oven when we left but never got a reply from them. Other than those issues it was a nice property.

Very good. Keep up the good work. Maybe offer better discounts for loyal customers which are not time pressured.

Comfortable, light and well loved spacious bungalow with good size pretty patio garden to rear, the sun house was a surprise and lovely to sit in during the evening and there is easy parking to the front, in a quiet residentail area but within easy reach of Ryde, Sandown etc and Seaview its self. We found the maps and booklets within the property very useful for planning our visits. There is a well stocked local store with parking but also within walking distance (public footpath between houses opposite). Would be happy to return

We thoroughly enjoyed our fortnight in Alturlie. The accommodation was very central and very comfortable as were the beds. We certainly would not hesitate to return.

Great place to stay, was very comfortable, had all the kitchen utensils/equipment required for cooking meals. Toaster was really handy to have as previous reviews had suggested this was needed. Would benefit from better signage to the property as the number is very rusty and next to a plant pot so not easy to see if a car is parked nearby. To easily find the property it is next to the first carpark on the left as soon as you enter California Sands. The complex has a small shop which was handy. Reasonable price fish and chip shop also on the complex. Kids enjoyed the swimming pool, bouncy castles and the arcades. Places to visit nearby with kids - Gorleston on sea for crabbing- nice beach too - Bewilderwood - Pettits adventure park - Sealife centre Great Yarmouth - Mississipi boat ride in Horning - Thrigby hall wildlife parc - Bug Parc

The cottage was very comfortable, practicable and nicely presented. It's location was ideal for us in that it was less than 100 yards from the Moot Hall right in the middle of Keswick. Likewise, it was a 5 minute walk from the Theatre on the Lake by Derwent Water. Many people would have been able to park their car by the property and not need to use it all week. I shall seriously consider rebooking in the near future, when neither my wife nor I will be restricted in our walking ability.

The building and grounds were amazing! I loved the sun room personally, and did yoga there every morning. Absolutely perfect. My little terrier loved the vast grounds and explored every inch of it and the girls loved the hot tub. My partner missed the locality of a shop to walk to close by but we knew that was the case upon booking so that was his problem 😜 The hosts were great and messaged me first thing on the morning of our stay to ask if we needed anything in advance. Really lovely touch, thank you. The only thing I felt that let it down and I’d have given 5 stars was if the cleanliness had been a little better. There were lots of cobwebs which I could have excused but when it came to the fridge freezer, the microwave and the oven/grill, I’m afraid until I’d cleaned them myself I wasn’t happy using the appliances. Im unsure as to whether the hot tub was cleaned every day as the (lack of a better word) scum seemed to gather quickly after the first couple of nights but that didn’t bother the girls at all so not a big deal. On another note however, the showers were clean and the bedding and towels were lovely and clean too. Overall, we loved it. Thank you so much for your hospitality, Shan

Wow where do I start? This apartment is like a Tardis…it’s huge. Spacious…modern and equipped to a very high standard. The kitchen has everything you need…microwave…oven…grill…fridge and freezer…plenty of cooking utensils and baking trays. Lots of cupboard space for all your groceries. There’s a washer / dryer in the apartment too…a table and chairs for you to eat your meals whilst admiring the stunning sea views. There’s also a study room which was handy. The beds are comfortable with beautifully smelling bedding…bedrooms with lots of drawer space…and the shower was easy to use and huge soft towels were provided too. It was great having two toilets. A tea towel…washing up liquid and cloth was provided and four toilet rolls. A welcome pack of two sticks of rock…chocolates…tea bags…sugar & coffee pods awaited our arrival too. And in the fridge a bottle of Prosecco and milk which was lovely. The cleaning staff went above and beyond to help us with any queries and hats off to Michelle who literally bent over backwards for us. We met George the owner who was very friendly and helped us out. Must again mention the stunning sea views beautiful. We came by train and walked everywhere the location of this apartment is spot on. Just a quick walk…less than ten minutes from a huge Tesco…Lidl…the train station and the bus station. Where you can go to lots of different places including York…Scarborough…Filey…Whitby & Robin Hoods Bay for a few pounds just to name a few. A five minute walk to an Iceland and the harbour…where I can highly recommend a trip on the Yorkshire Belle…a fishing trip…speed boat ride and for the kids the pirate ship. Done them all… If you can do an early start can recommend Bridlington Strawberry fields car boot which in the summer is every Tuesday and Thursday except on a bank holiday when it’s on the Monday instead of Tuesday. If it’s good weather it’s huge. Just round the corner is a great pub that does home cooked meals opposite the Spa. It’s just a two minute walk to the beautiful clean beach. A great take away which does amazing kebabs and pizzas…and can recommend Audrey’s fish and chips which is a five minute walk. The north side beach is about ten minute walk away and if you venture further along there’s a crazy golf and putting green which is very reasonably priced and the cafe too. Can recommend a walk to Sewerby Hall and catching the land train back. The walk to Flamborough is a lovely long walk and again reasonably priced to go to the top of the lighthouse. There is places to eat and drink there and the views stunning. We come to Bridlington every year and can honestly say for location…views and the standard of the apartment you cannot find better. We got chatting to other guests who said the same thing about their apartments…we saw inside another apartment which again was stunning and highly equipped and very modern. We loved it so much that we have already booked to stay here next year. Highly recommended. A great thanks to George & team.
