“My husband is gluten intolerant and I was keen to find somewhere I could purchase him a gluten free birthday cake for his birthday on boxing day. Considering we had moved house just a week before this, there was no way I could even contemplate baking and decorating one for him myself. I found Sponge and contacted them about when was best to have a cake delivered for boxing day, with it still being fresh etc. They got back to me really quickly, answered all my questions and reassured me a cake delivered on December 23rd would be fine for boxing day. I cannot fault their customer service whatsoever.
The best bit? The cake is amazing! Moist and delicious! I could give this to certain fussy people I know and there is no way that they would be able to tell it's gluten free unless I told them. We have enjoyed every mouthful of it so far and on the 29th of December it is still just as delicious as 3 days ago. I would highly recommend purchasing a cake from Sponge and will do so again myself in the future for sure!”
