“Brilliant job. Smartly was the only company we found that was willing to project manage the entire job. We were reluctant to get dragged into dealing with lots of subcontractors, as we needed to replace part of the roof, and liked the solar tiles. And we are really pleased with the results. Roofers thought carefully about what they were doing, and clearly take pride. They even fixed what they thought was a poor job on another art of the roof. “It just isn’t right”. Electricians produced a work of art in their cabling, all neatly pinned. Overall we are delighted, and would recommend Smartly Energy to anyone going solar.”

“Smartly installed solar panels on my flat garage roof, along with a battery. There were various site constraints to work to, but Ross’s patience in providing many quote/spec variations was fabulous. A couple of glitches challenged the installation team, but they sorted everything out brilliantly, and I’ve since been enjoying the benefits of the Sussex sunshine.”

The job was really tidy, all done in line without time estimation and budget. The system is all up and running and working perfectly. I would thoroughly recommend.”

“Smartly installed a new roof with embedded solar panels (front and back) at our terraced house in Banbury. The roof looks great (neighbours say it's the best-looking one in the street!) and is generating power which I can see and control through the 'Shine' app on my phone. The team were polite and very hard-working. There were one or two hitches/delays along the way but the communication about these was good, so we were aware what to expect. I'm happy to recommend the team at Smartly.”

“Smartly Energy replaced our old solar panels with a larger system that included battery storage (as we purchased an EV car last year). Excellent, timely service and installation and Ross took all the time we needed to discuss options and answer all our questions. The panels are working extremely well (even on rainy days) - over the first 3 months the panels have produced over 65% of our energy - and we live in Scotland! We would highly recommend Smartly.”

“Ross and the team at Smartly Energy were brilliant from start to finish. Both their quote and equipment spec were better than 4 or 5 other quotes I'd had previously so I was delighted with the price and system. They took on my job at a time of challenging supply chain issues (post covid) and stuck with it when lesser companies would have pulled out due to challenging procurement issues. They kept me informed of progress and coordinated the job nicely to completion. They stuck with it to the end and produced a great result managing the necessary certification and energy supplier processes on my behalf. I'd highly recommend smartly energy for your EV charging, solar PV and other renewable needs. You won't be disappointed.”

“Excellent service and installation”

“After years of talking about it, we decided to take the plunge and get quotes for a solar power system (Roof panels, inverter with battery storage and if possible a wall charger for an electric vehicle for our son). We were ready to go with a quote from Scottish Power but looked at checkatrade and that’s when I saw the great reviews for Smartly. I asked for a quote and Ross from Smartly contacted me that day. Almost immediately I was struck by his friendliness, politeness and professionalism but just as importantly, he was not pushy, and I never felt pressured at any stage. After I provided some information and photos of my property, a quote was very soon sent to me, which contained a lot of additional information on what the system would provide for our home. The quote provided gave us more panel capacity than the other quotes and the particular EV charger that we wanted (Zappi). And it was cheaper than the others. We quickly gave the thumbs up and we were given an install date which as within 3 weeks of initial contact. Ross was always available to answer any questions we had. The install team arrived on day as planned and before the day was over we had our panels up and running. All the guys were polite and cleaned up as they went along and spent time setting up apps on my phone for both the panels and the EV charger. And after the installation, Ross answered a few questions we had just to allow us to get a better understanding of how everything works. I can’t think of anything negative at all to say about all stages of the process and I can recommend Smartly 100% with absolutely no reservations, and the customer service is beyond reproach.”

“First class company to deal with. Promised solar panels in two months, phoned after two months to do job next week. Turned up 8.00 o'clock worked straight through till 7.00. Efficient, pleasant cleaned up, no rubbish, you would not have known you had anyone working on the property. Highly recommend. Brilliant.”

“Excellent customer service. We had to change the date of installation , no problem at all, very accommodating. Very impressed with the guys who fitted our system. They turned up on time every day, worked an incredibly long day on day one even through dreadful rain. They were very polite and courteous as were the guys who put the scaffolding up. Cannot recommend them highly enough, also Derek who was our first point of contact. A very happy customer.”
