“Na enige onduidelijkheid door het orderbedrijf vandaag mijn marlin gestalt xr gekomen!! Super fietsje en mooi afgemonteerd. Simple bikestore Rotterdam was erg behulpzaam bij het eerder sturen van de factuur. Het plaatsen van de dropper koste even knoppen, maar dat is eigen keuzen.”

“I wanted to buy a frame that I only found on the Simple Bike Store website. I quickly asked via chat whether it was actually still available in my size, which was confirmed (very friendly chat contact), so I placed my order straight away. Delivery time according to the website: approx. 3 weeks. After just 5 days, I received the shipping confirmation, and after another 3 days, the frame arrived at my door (in Germany). I can highly recommend the store and will gladly shop here again.”

“Alles was top behalve de pickup. Ik kreeg de fiets mee in de doos. Dacht dat hij wel klaar gemaakt werd bij ophalen. Daarnaast was de medewerker niet duidelijk en vaag. Vroeg geen id, bestelnummer was genoeg. Prima maar is een risico.”

Dear Philip, I am sorry but during ordering process you can't go to the next step without clicking on the button that asks you if you like to get the bike assembled at extra cost or you want to proceed to payment without choosing assembly. Therefore assuming that the bike will be assembled without paying for is not correct. We are not obligated to ask for ID, because your name and order number is enough to prove that the purchased goods are for you. Met vriendelijke groet, Team Simple Bike Store

“Bike is great, I don’t think the tax and customs clearance implications were clear. Said cat would be calculated and adjusted at checkout but still had to pay vat(20%), import duty (14% for bikes) and disbursement fee (£12) Definitely cheaper to buy in uk.”

Thank you for your feedback. I have to admit that we are not responsible for the customs fees and local tax once purchased from outside EU. Therefore receiving 3* review for the fact you are outside EU and you had to pay tax is a bit strange because assuming you buy without paying tax with option to avoid it is not correct. It is clearly mentioned on the website next to the price that Import costs and VAT is not included once you order from abroad. Kind regards, Team Simple Bike Store

“Sehr guter Shop! Schnelle Lieferung nach Berlin ist erfolgt, Topp. Ich war anfänglich skeptisch wurde aber positiv überrascht. Der "Oberrohrschoner" aus Leder ist sehr ordentlich verarbeitet und mal anderes als die typischen Stoffüberzüge. Bitte weiter so.”

“Bike is as expected. Communication could be better (shipment was alleged on day of purchase but pick-up by the carrier occured only five days later, which got us wonder whether the shop was legit: this is damaging your image, for no good reason in this case). Nonetheless, glad to have received the bike before Sinterklaas :)”

“I ordered a woom bike there, it turned out it was out of stock. Customer Service offered me a bike in a different colour but I decided to wait until the new delivery arrives, which took quite some time (at least two month). Finally the new bikes arrived but not enough, so still no bike for me. Once again they offered me a different colour, but that was no option. Instead of waiting another two months I decided to order the same bike one size bigger in the right colour. Customer Service was very helpful und gave me a good price on the bigger one, which arrived a few days later.”
